  1. Very possible, I talked to him earlier today, and he was alreadt on the road..... He is taking his boys camping for the weekend. But he said he was gonna get online to read this thread, He can help you with the squish also
  2. You can still trail ride that way, just gives more fuel in the carbs. If you need parts locally, call Jeff aka 535 banshee he is in Naples area 239-253-2616
  3. Where in Fl. are you at ?? I would agree that you ran it out of fuel, causing it to run lean. I have billet bowls, BUT, I also cut off one of the floats. That way I know I wont ever run out of fuel in the 300` that I run. Dajogejr. Is absolutely correct. My 421 cub SUCKS alky like its going out of style!!!!!
  4. Send me some pics, I will post them for ya !!!! These pipes do look good......
  5. Hey Chase, you planning on coming out to Bithlo to drag with us ????????? Thats really close to you!!!!
  6. My builder isnt in AZ. BUt he is not too far away, he is in Cali. I use Nate McCoy. I have a little 4 mil . Last weekend I ran a 4.116 in 300` on alky, and I weigh 250+ lbs Thats not bad at all. His number is 530-902-3052. The best thing to do is call around talk to some builders , and go with who YOU feel comfortable with !!!! I personally would trust Nate 100%
  7. Most of our tracks down here run 6.0,5.60,5.20,4.60,4.20, and a 4.0 class 10 gate fee, 15 entry fee, and 35 outlaw entry some are 80% and some are 100% payback. If you want fast bikes there they need at least 500` of shut down, as already said " stopping can be fun " GOOD luck with the track, If I can help with questions just holla !!!
  8. If your planning on going to Bithlo, you might want to stay with some " stock" type knobby tires, UNLESS your some $$ burning in your pocket. Then I would consider a set of prowedges, as the Bithlo track is more clay with sand. Paddles wont work as well there. But , if your staying at C&R, I would stay with the knobby tires. Just my opinion, take it for what it is.
  9. Need more motor info to try to help..... We have no idea what your running. Even with whats listed in your mods, I would start with your under carbed. Running asphalt, do you have billet bowls, or even one of the floats cut off ???? If no fuel there, It definately wont go. example, I have 39mm kehins, with billet bowls, and one of the floats cut off in each carb on a 4 mil
  10. So what are you trying to say here???? Yep, My bike weighs less than I do !!!! But they are BOTH paid for !!!! the belly and the bike !!!LOL Back to the topic, Thats awsome, a stock chassis down to that weight........ WOW good job, looks NICE TOO!!!!!
  11. Yeah, your right there
  12. Motor YES, Chassis NO. Damien said he would never do another like that. BUt, Yes I would sell it !!! Ya want it ??
  13. Hell Dave, I could just sell you my bike then you would be done !!!!
  14. I wouldnt run anything like "engine ice" if your on alky. The motor needs some heat in it. I run straight water in mine that is on alky. The water leaking SOUNDS like an O-ring may not have been seated correctly at assembly( they can be a bitch to get right, there are a few tricks to use also) As for the smoke, that could have just been the "engine ice" burning off, BUT with out seeing the bike in person its hard to say. Further more, If your running alky, forget everything you know about tuning a gas engine ( as far as the correct visual on plug) alky is the opposite of gas. Now for the jetting and such, You should get in touch with the builder ( who ever you bought the parts from) and see what they say you should be jetted at for your set up, and elevation. You can see if you have any signs of deto by taking the pipes off and look in the cylinders with a flash light. ( with the piston all the way down) or stick your finger in and feel the top of piston I know this probably doesnt seem to help you much, BUT it will in the long run. GOOD LUCK
  15. Oh yeah, Just so you know, The races in Ga. were cancelled due to rain. BUT, they are on for next weekend !!!!! The 9TH
  16. Troy had a nice from wild west, He liked it and held up good on his old 7 mil bike. For the light as possible, look for a chromoly one that been chromed, or get it raw and do what you want like powder coat. I know your trying to step up, So get a round house carrier, You wont regret it
  17. I will DISAGREE with you!!!!! NOT all cubs are bad for low end power, Mines NOT lacking at all, and YES its drag ported. I would also like to see a 358 smoke my 421........ NOT gonna happen. The vids you speak of the cubs obviously didnt have the set up right. There are plenty here who have seen my little 421 run, and spank 535`s. I would recomend a good 421 cub set up to anyone, they get the power to the ground better than most
  18. What ^ said !!!!! That looks like shiot
  19. I see, I read it wrong..... Sorry
  20. Why would it be cheaper to buy just one or the other instead of the whole package being cheaper ????
  21. Yeah, I agree !!
  22. Coolhead, and billet water pump impeller, maybe after market reeds. Then later a mild port job
  23. They sell just the foam. I hate to say, But look on ebay, I have seen them there before
  24. This may sound dumb, BUT it happens. You said you just put it back together right ??? Make sure your key isnt sheared off, or that its in the key way
  25. I would say your pipes are whats killing you, BUT, The BEST thing to do is contact RDZ and ask them what can be done to acheive what your looking for. If anyone would know their motors, it should be them. Also you dont have what your running for carbs
