O.K., I am NOT really that bad, the wife can touch the bike, But I still get antsy about it. She says "its just a bike" and that to me is an insult. But I do cover it every night!!!!

I was asked recently to have my bike in a photo shoot for a calander with girls in bikinis, My response was, I need to see pics of the girls first to be approved, and I WILL be present. I dont mind the pics and such, I just dont want any snail tracks on it, they are too hard to get off

Yeah, Everyone has to whats best for them forsure !!! Alky as dajogejr said, Just a twist of the power jet is all,maybe in an extreme case a pilot change. But definately runs cooler. I am worse than either of you two, I change plugs every race if not twice, change oil same night after races, and drain alky out w/ flush on the same night as races. Purging is really easy for me though. I have a seperate bung with a shut off for the draining part. The bike gets washed down with simple green, then dried, put back in garage and covered up with an old comforter ( putting her to bed as I call it) Then, the day following everthing gets polished back up again.So I am REAL anal with that bike to say the least I have close ups of the fiberglass paint and stuff/matching helmet. I will post some for ya later. site seems real slow right now

A coolhead will keep your motor running at a cooler temp than a stock head. As for the different cc domes, thats how you change compression ratings

Same here, Quick 16 all the way !!!!! Cant beat it. Whats wrong with switching to alky ?? the motor will run sooo much cooler than gas. Yeah its a little finiky when the cooler air drops, but you learn to deal with it. We have two dogs as well, but mamma would stay to the house for the road trips and watch the dogs!! LOL!!!! We have wedges and paddles, but an all out big boy event would be great !!!!! Keep us posted with it. Here is my new jockey on my quick 16!! LOOK out guys

Yeah, I agree. I am 250+ lbs running 4.11- low teens which isnt bad for a heavy guy. We are really interested in making a trip up sometime, Always nice to run with some new peaple for a change !!!!!! What classes are you all running there ?? just trying to see if its close to ours at 550cc and down,551cc and up for the outlaw, and a heavy hitters class . Ours are all naturally aspired no nos rules, except for the 551 cc and up. Let us know, and possible future race dates would be good too !!! Maybe even dajogejr could make a south run, while we make a north run and meet in the middle in Tenn. Thats half way from Mi. to Fl.!!!!!!

Just drible some on the buffing pad and start running it over the surface at a slower speed so it dont spray everywhere, Then once it starts turning black increase the speed until its gone and SHINNY. That bumper wouldnt be hard to do at all.

Thats the SHIT right there !!!!!!! Put a buffing pad on a drill, You will be surprized how well it looks !!!!! But, Like "Ice" stated if its a time thing, find a truckstop in your area, most of them have a "polishing" shop that would do it also. But I really think you would be amazed doing it yourself with the "diamonds"

pick up some "white diamonds" metal polish and a buffing pad,save yourself some money. We have used that stuff on things like stock bumpers, they came out like polished billet.
