  1. i had rudy kurtz cut me a head couple years ago for a stock stroke that had 185psi.think he made it 19cc.not sure if that will work with a 4mil with spacer plate though
  2. do the 4mil. i have one of kevins and love it.
  3. my buddy got a set off of kevin herr few weeks ago and we stuck them on and they didn't have to be shimmed at all.but i know my out a frames i bought last year didn't bolt right up.had to make brackets
  4. run one of jeff clutches and for the carbs i think stock ones bored will work fine for trail riding but keep in mind you can only safely get 27.5mm out of a set of stocker.i bored a set myself and i wouldn't feel safe going any farther.
  5. get yourself a set of 34pj's or 35 pwk's.depending on who did the cylinders and the durations on the port for what pipes would work the best.i would say cpi's or shearer inframes.have your stock head cut to 19cc.you can use your stock reed cages for now but get a set of aftermarket reeds and put yourself one of jeffs clutches in it from FAST.cheap set of upp intakes.thats about the cheapest and this all will work fine to get you started
  6. no dave i am not using my 34 pj's.this is kevins setup i'm running.they are 41 mikuni's with billet bowls that K&T setup i believe, but thanx.once i get it all together i might need alittle advice on tuning.i will hit you up.

  10. give kevin a call at herr jugs racing.he does a trail port and he cold tell you about how much power you can get out of it.but if you want something that will scare you i would probly do a dune port
  11. to start with about how much hp you wanting to have?if you want 90 to 100 then build a 4mil stock cylinder drag port if you want over 100 then you are looking at a set of cubs,twister or dm cylinders.

  15. kev,brad (banshee332) has that 10 mil cub and is running the larger bowls but not a fuel pump.works good.
  16. what does the transfers on the bottom of the cylinders and the exhaust look like.from the intakes looks like not really much at all
  17. no might slip over this evening and mess with it alittle .its did it every since he has had the banshee.i am going to go over some of the electrical things.he is still running the key switch,stock on/off kill switch and a pull kill switch so not sure if it might be something there.seen the pickup looks like the flywheel might of hit it a time or two.so was leaning toward it also.was wondering if it could be checked with a meter at all?
  18. my buddy is coming over i will see what he wants to do.we was leaning it being the stator and pickup but i will get back with you on the cdi box i will check the numbers to be sure too.thanx just checked the color of the banshee is the yr of 96
  19. you guys that have repalced your cdi boxes what was they doing for you to replace them?also what will a bad stator and pickup do if its going bad?
  20. very strong setup if runs anything like one of kevins aggressive dune port i have rode.which sure they do.good luck :thumbsup:
  21. can you put a 95 and up cdi box and stator with pickup on any yr banshee.i am asking cause a buddy of mine is having problems and was wondering if i could take his 87-94 cdi box and stator with pickup off and bolt my newer 4 prong cdi box and stator with pickup on to see if it fixs his problem
  22. i liked ps for there classifieds as well but not worth the $25.also they are only hurting the guys on there selling things cause not going to be many people to buy cause of it.plus the classifieds like was said you might not get what you paid for then when you finally get your money back they don't want to pay you for what it cost to send there wrong part back to them
  23. this one does it everytime you let off and back on the gas.when you smack the throttle no matter what gear your in.
  24. if you would open it up the hole way it flutter for about 5 sec. till it starts to pick up.on top end it runs great.but if you would let off the gas and back on to it it does the samething.the motor is completly rebuilt and has a new coil.it did it before the motor was rebuilt also.jetting seems to be really good,idles great and top end is also.i changed the clip on the needles into every position and still the same.leads me to believe its something electrical.what do you guys think it could be?what should i test?
  25. depends on what you want to spend.i have kevin's 4mil drag port and it will out run a stock stroke cub that has no porting i would say.with my setup you will have just the same in as a set of nonported cub cylinders.but if you are like everybody else, every year want to get faster. then the cub would be the way to go, cause there is more work to be done with them to make them faster.its all in what you want
