  1. i would go with the 4mil 115rod.i know kevin runs the 4mil stoke rod in his and has never had a problem with it and he has been running it for a couple seasons.the hotrod 4mil crank comes with the 115 rod and for the money thats what i would do.kevin ported my cylinders to that crank and it rips but i am running the drag port.what a big change it will be for you.good luck
  2. i blowed one before and it ran fine but would just push coolant out after just alittle time of riding.
  3. it could be a blown head gasket but if you seen those carbon marks there i would think it would of built pressure in the coolant system and would of been pushing coolant out the over flow.you can try the gasket but i would say that its electrical or check the reeds for cracks
  4. i'd be safe to say put oil in and run it but i would drain the oil after a day of riding and out new in.as long as it wasn't setting out side in the weather.also i guess it was fine when it was last run?
  5. you really wouldn't have to spend all the 3500 on the motor.get yourself i nice dune or aggressive trail port,34mm carbs, get your stock head cut or get a noss head with 19cc domes depending on what fuel you want to run, adjustable timing plate.you will only have about 1200 at the most in the motor.and the rest of the money to play with on the suspension and chassis.

  8. lol.dave i am not saying that i will not like it but i know when i used to drag race my mustang i had, it was bracket racing and thats the reason i got rid of it.i was think bracket racing on dirt would be little harder but hey i am up for triing it.can't wait
  9. yeah kev that will be one that we will be triing out.the only bad part about that track is that it is bracket racing, but i am up for triing it.
  10. you will be suprized how long i will last.i did my a arms 2 yrs ago the same way you did and they still look great.alot of clear seems to help out on the chipping.looks good p.s like the cascade calender on the wall. i also got one on my toolbox at work

  19. most people say 10% which i'd say if its everything is perfect.which includes cutting the head for alky.i know when i converted mine without changing the head noticed a big change.about 2 to 3 tenths in 500ft.
  20. .125 mains and also the dump tube drilled .125.you will have to run a powerjet and different needle
  21. what kind of carbs you have and what kind of port job is it?
  22. i ran alky for the first time this yr and loved it.for the kind of racing you do i would make sure you have oversize carb bowls and that your tank will hold enough for the 20 laps and who knows how many cautions the race might have.it burns about twice as fast
  23. my wcr 1-5 n down dunable has lasted me a whole season with no problms
