  1. That's some funny shit right there!
  2. Where are you at? I'm sure you aren't in B.F.E. Alaska like I am, but at least it will let the people who are close to you know where you are located.
  3. Does anyone else think these don't look "new"? I was looking at them wondering why anyone would sell used pistons when I saw that it said they were new. Maybe I just spoil myself with pro lites and this is what the rest of the world buys? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-Yamaha-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  4. you said you checked the reeds and they looked good. Did you try actually swapping sides with the cages? since you keep tearing it apart anyway next time try switching sides when you throw it together. Sometimes it's hard to see problems with your reeds, it's best to just swap sides to rule it out.
  5. You gotta love alaska, they just told me NO
  6. I hope everything works out for your family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers
  7. There aren't many questions on here that you can't find the answer to by searching. Not trying to be a dick, but tors has about a million threads about it. Handyman Nov 14 2005, 07:23 PM Post #4 QUOTE(3ban5shee0 @ Nov 14 2005, 06:54 PM) what do tors do i hear u guys talking about them all the time what does it do TORS(Throttle Over Ride System) the main purpose of this is to keep you engine from blowing up if one slide gets stuck in the open position. There are sensors on top of each carb that senses the position of the slide in the carb. There is a sensor in the throttle housing that senses the position of the throttle. The sensor in the throttle housing and on top of the carbs sends a signal to a box(Located under the gas tank on the left side of the frame). When the position of either carb or the throttle position and carb slide positions don't match then the box will send a signal to the ignition box and the ignition will be adjusted to keep your engine from blowing. In another words......get rid of it because when it gets wet enough it will reak havoc and become a huge headache. Plus when you get rid of it and put in a TORS eliminator kit the throttle response becomes alot better
  8. After reading this and concidering being the 14th person to not reply, I figured I'd be the first to say... I have no idea what to say to this, except that it's fucked up.
  9. I just let him talk. He's full of all kinds of stories that brighten my day. Something about listening to someone tell you a complete lie, and ramble on and on thinking you are believing them, while you sit there laughing on the inside and thinking dumb ass.
  10. I was talking to this guy the other day, who told me he used to race for team kawasaki. He then told me he did it on a kx 125 that had 6 power bands . He said it hauled ass!
  11. I don't know how the power is on the trinity, But the stainless is deffinatly a huge plus! I have toomeys though and they are great quality
  12. Sounds like a good deal to me
  13. That's funny as hell!!
  14. Good looking shee
  15. Well there is good news... They usually tone down the extra bold crazy shit like the gold in the interior. then there is good stuff, like It's not a god damn four door like they seem to like doing to re-introduced muscle cars now days. Sounds like a win win situation. I've always loved camaros, another one has got to be a good thing!
  16. You could get some PT mids, or maybe a 2 into 1 if you are looking to shift your power to a lower rpm. But you really aren't going to get much of a gain by changing brands / styles. If you want a large power increase get your cylinders ported. That will be you next big gain. Shop around find a builder who is good at porting for the type of riding you do. What type of riding do you do? PC's are more of a top end pipe. Are you looking for more low end power, or just more?
  17. that's good shit man!
  18. This is the big thing. I have no problem with reccomending a teenager get a banshee for a first quad, as long as they are smart about how they ride it. But it depends on terrain. I don't think a banshee is anywhere near a good bike for a beginer if they are mostly going to be riding in tighter trails. Not only will it be a handful for them, but they aren't going to have as much fun as they would on a torquey four stroke that they can ride slower. Just my .02
  19. id you see their "developmental concept sketches"? Look at the pipes, how did they go from that to the ones they ended up using? I think somebody was taking a pay off from an aftermarket company!
  20. Why don't you ride over there and slap him? Hey there's always the chance that when he says it has over $30,000 IN IT, he means stuffed in the seat cover...?
  21. My son was born 6 weeks early. It was a rather tough time, with a lot or time spent in the hospital, but you'd never know if you saw him today. He just turned four and he is a tank. The extra week (5 weeks early) should help her out conciderably, although it won't make a daddy feel any less worried. I'll keep you in my thought's and prayers.
  22. I have 6's and they are loud as hell. As far as race-a-holic's comment on t-6's having "nothing" on top, I think either his jetting was off, or he is a little stoned. Mine deffinatly doesn't have a "There was nothing" feeling on top. Just my .02
  23. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say if they came with the kit, use them. I don't know about your personal "local shop" guy, but just cause they work at a bike shop, doesn't mean they know their ass from a power valve.
  24. where is you needle at? also what pilots are you running?
