  1. If you want to see bikes, go to the images forum and there is a thread there with just about everyones banshee pictured on it.
  2. Well, our forcast doesn't go all the way to the weekend, however the weather channel says friday we're suposed to have a "high" of 12 below with a low of 23 below. I think I may be riding the couch this weekend... and probably every other one from here till April!
  3. The piston's don't come out the bottom... To start with. Buy the manual, eventually you will need it. You can also do a serch on here for top end, and I'm sure there are about 5,000 threads on what is involved in a top end rebuild. But, to answer the origional question, as long as you get a manual, there is no reason why you can't do the wrench work yourself. You will have to pay someone to do the bore/hone on the cylinders though.
  4. I've got the toomey 2 into 1 on my bike. It seems to work pretty well. I use a filter skin on it most of the time, But it is pretty well up and out of the way. You will deffinatly need a pre filter of some sort though if you ride in dry dusty conditions. I like the ease of maintinance of the foam filter too.
  5. Is it ported? If no that would be your best bet. You also aught to have your crank welded/ trued, when you tear it down next.
  6. I put 285 -75-16's on my chevy. They're basicly a 33 - 11.5. I'm too cheap to pay the $1500 for a lift for my I.F.S. so I put a 3" BDS body lift and the 33's.
  7. I recently bought some new BFG all terrain K/O's. I'd just like to reccomend them to anyone who lives where there is a lot of ice and snow in the winter. They have been excelent both on icy roads, and out in the fresh stuff. Great tires!
  8. maybe I'll have to rethink my idea of retiring her for the year. I didn't much care for that idea anyway!
  9. We've got over about a foot maybe a little more here in fairbanks alaska. I haven't bothered rejetting for it though, as much as I'd like to. The projected "HIGH" for tomorrow is minus ten degrees. And it only gets colder. I think the shee is out of commission til spring
  10. So you got her goin again?
  11. Best bet would be to do a compression test. The testers are cheap and you will eventually need one anyway. Make sure to get the type with the threaded end. Other than that, I've never tried to kick mine over bare foot, and I'm not real sure why you would have either
  12. tha's funny as hell. any gay pirates looking for new clothes?

  18. I tend to drive a little over, but when you are talking about a 30mph zone, there is usually a reason, I.E. resedential etc. I can't say they are wrong for catching you however, they should never be a "d*ck" about things. Their job requires them to be mature and indifferent, however some, power trip d*ck heads can really get to you. I've delt with cops that are as* holes about stuff and I feel for you there.
  19. That should be pinned onhere permanatly. Great sh*t man. Really told the story.
  20. you know, I don't have a thing for asian chicks. Honestly there is a limited # of them that have really caught my eye... But I must say, I really like reading your posts, and ( not saying you have nothing important to say)mostly for her. Very nice!
  21. I'd like to know what " brake oil" is. Does it lube you rotors so you don't stop too fast?
  22. That's a great buck!
  23. Aren't there issues with putting a long rod stroker kit on previously ported cylinders?
