If you have the cash to buy some elkas then go for it. I'm not saying the 450's would be better than them, I thought you were trying to save cash. As far as what pipe to get, thats really a matter of preference. Different pipes have their own charictoristics (sp?). I have toomey, they are a more top end pipe. FMF seems to be a good all around pipe with more lower mid range, people seem to agree that the craftsmanship of the fmf's is a little lower, however they work very well. PT mids are expensive, but a popular woods pipe, and I've heard people say the PT high revs are actually a better all around pipe (not sure though). Once you get to CPI's and sheerers you are looking at drag pipes. They are more of a higher rpm pipe. I personally wouldn't wory about the J arms. I'd just start pending money on the one you have. The HQ is a great place for information, and after you stick around for a while you will notice you spend entirely too much time staring at these damn forum pages.
