No pump just a gear driven inpellar drain coolant Remove the right side cover remove imellar cover remove impellar held on by c-clips and install new impellar Installation in reverse process...can't get too much in detail.....don't have a clymers in front of me.. might do a search and you should find all the answers you need.... Highly suggest buying a billet impellar....it's better than the plastic OEM impellar

I would look at your pilot jet..I noticed that when I had to bore to the 2nd oversize that it was boggy off idle and when I tried to open her up from putting around. Went to a 27.5 and made all the difference.

Starting in march I'll be out of the area and won't be riding my shee's let alone starting them. Wife won't be riding them either. What do I need to do to them since they will be sitting for at least 6 months untouched. The weather will be hot so i don't need to worry about the fluids freezing or anything like that. I'm mainly worried about the motors..Do I need to do anything special to my 421 powervalve??

What size tires are you running??? I'm running 22x11x10 8 paddle extremes and they hook pretty damned good...not unusual for me to get a good long look at the sky

Nitemare67..I'm south of you just out outside of fresno..There'a few places up HWY 41 (going to Yosemite). The places are just ut side a small town called Oakdale.. Oakhearst(I think..it's Oak...something) there are few places that I have heard of that are awesome in the mountains in with the tall trees...Also there is a place off Hwy 99 just norht of fresnop that you can see that is right next to the Hwy..Not sure how to get there but it looks kinda nice..

Still have the pegs and base plates if you still want them.

I have a set of heelguards and pegs that I just took off of my '05...the heel guards aren't pretty to look at but nothing as little paint can't change..

So the wife wants to change the color of her shee from red, black and yellow to blue, silver and chrome....The question I have is should I buy all new plastics or should I have what I got painted blue??? I still owe some money to a member on here so money is kinda tight...especially with christmas right around the corner. If I paint them how would the paint stand up to the vibrations, flexing etc. of the plastics?? Any help and insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

To answer your question properly we need to know what kind of rifing you do..We can care less abou tthe 450's you ride with...Do you do sharp turns?? More of a straight and fast rider.. etc...Sand stars are an over all awesome tire....but they won't do as well as other tires if you lgo straight and fast more than general duning

Yup you're close to the time for a new top end. I rebuilt mine at 100psi.. 120-135 is about normal

I would say either the 3rd or 4th clip position..It all depaends on what the motor likes the best.

I'm run 340 mains and a 27.5 pilot in my '99 with stock carbs.....it's mostly stock...The only engine mod iss a bore to the 2nd oversize...Jetting is almost dead on..Make sure all 3 TORS connectors are disconnected
