  1. thanks guys, well the reason is one, i think all the four stroke guys will crap their pants when i fly past them on a blaster... lol, two its cheap to do...
  2. i have a first gen blaster frame, and im thinking about trying to swap a banshee motor onto the frame and relocate the motor mounts... any body have any tips or ideas?
  3. yeah id say check and clean you carbs for debris and clogged passages.. your highspeed might get enough fuel, but low speed it might be starving...
  4. so in order to find out how lean u are, u need to run the bike wide open then kill it, you cant just start the bike and pull the plug and take a pic... get a good run in 6th, then kill it and see what it is, should look like card board
  5. what you have right now sounds good. but i would go up around 10 or 20 more on your main jets and then put your needle on the 3rd clip...
  6. considering the pipes your running, you may have an engine unnig way to hot.... and with a fuel pump on that bike, you may end up blowing yourself up because that will cause the fuel to spill out of all your air lines and your carbs right onrto tyour engine and pipes.... ( heat = combustion)
  7. right now im running neck and neck with the yfz's, when i up my compression, u think i will have a betters chance?
  8. i have a 2003 yamaha banshee k&n intake sst pipes jetted 280 and currently have 105 and 112 on left and right cylinders. what should they be at?
  9. would i port the cross hatches onside the cylinder>?
  10. a stupid question, but what needs ported on it? i just did some porting on the reed intake part.....? more?
  11. o yeah and i did my own tiny prot and polish job on it.... nothing big
  12. timing upped 4 degrees fmf sst full exhaust k&n intake jetted 280 hinson clutch lol sorry bout the name ill change it....
  13. im getting ready rto bore my cylinders over, im doing this cuz i cant beat a yfz 450, were dead even, and i need more power, what should i bore to? and how much of a difference will this make?
  14. go to a 350 and maybe a 360 main jet and a 27.5 on your pilot, without that you will be running way to hot, which is very lean.....
  15. if your bike is stock the n you need to get the basic upgrades like filter and ur boost bottle otherwise your gonna spend way too much money jetting the bike after putting ur pipes on... since you ride in open fields, i would go with the fmf sst's then bump up your timeing, remove your air box lid,,,, jett it around 280-300 pending on your elevation,,, i have pretty much that setup and im untouchable.... unless of course the drag shee's come out...lol then ur in trouble... the sst will give you tremendous mid to top end power, and when you up your timing, that just adds on to everything... and if you cant get the holseshot, mess with your sprockets, go up a tooth or two.....
