  1. For sure. Serval, Cub, DM, DMX, Cougar, Caracal, Puma, Sphinx, Liger, etc... All with different bore & stroke combinations. Different stud lay outs, different spread, different deck heights, different exhaust flange just about anything you are willing to pay for and wait for they can do. Have you seen any Cheetahs plated and un machined from CP without it being a DM? I tried to get one like that and Harry stated his were all machined. I thought he was doing all the finish work on PV's?
  2. Some are controlled by an electronic servo and move according to RPM. But most are pneumatic. That means they use exhaust pressure to actuate. When pressure builds, the valve opens and similulates the exhaust port getting bigger. Almost like it goes from low timing trail type port to a higher duration drag port. You can tune them using spring pressure and some use bleeder jets. Kind of like a turbo wastegate.

  4. All Cheetahs are set up for PV's in the casting process. It's up to the builder to install block offs or the PV's
  5. Cub is pretty much the same port layout as the Cheetah, but it doesn't have the powervalves and runs banshee reeds instead of 250r reeds. DM is 250R reeds and much larger bore.
  6. He never made cylinders. Calvin at CP industries and Harry partnered on the Cheetah and Harry did the R&D and had exclusive rights to them. Motors were coming out making way less then advertised and people wanted other options. So CP created the Cub and DM, etc. Harry still sells the Cheetah cylinders but they are not cheap and they still need a competent builder to set them up.
  7. Yes. They were more concerned with cool looking Billit instead of producing quality motor work. Dasa stepped in and bought Trinity out. Harry is now running a more scaled down operation now under his own name McDermott Racing. He still owns the rights to the Cheetah cylinder and Banshee exhaust.
  8. Check this monster out! http://www.visordown.com/news/new-bikes/stan-stephens%E2%80%99-1200cc-v6-two-stroke
  9. -Shift shaft isn't womped out on the claw end? -Is the shift shaft wobbling around in the case? Does it need a bushing in the cases -Eccentric bolt is adjusted properly? -Are the shift forks bent or worn?
  10. Single cranks aren't bad. Twins, triples, and quad cylinders get interesting. I've done a few singles, but I wouldn't touch a multi cyl set up.
  11. Sounds a bit fishy but that air box is choking your motor out if it's only eating a 260 with pipes, filter, and reeds. Keep an eye on it.
  12. What kind of automotive stuff are you doing?
  13. Horrible idea for any trail machine. The weight helps maintain inertia when navigating trails and turns. If it's not strictly drag on a lighter set up its wasted effort in my opinion.
  14. It's vibrating bolts loose, so that's No Bueno. The major problem I see is that there's a bolt that came out that's not visible. You need to find that... Or disassemble it and verify that it's not in there.
  15. ^That's just added weight...
  16. How much do you weigh and what are you doing with the motor? If you're over 150 Lbs, don't bother.

  18. Thacker posted something a while back on face book about an automotive bushing that worked from Energy Suspension. I'll see if I can dig up some info.
  19. Hello oddball exhaust port.... Don't stress over the residual rust in the ports. Tends to happen on alky bikes. Especially if they're not purged. Get some photos from different angles. Just seeing that exhaust port, I'd assume they are some type of drag port.
  20. Jfc, I like this loosescrewz fella. Kind of a modern day Shakespeare
