  1. They exist. Pretty normal before the aftermarket cylinder craze.
  2. That's an old school set up. Very cool if you can get it to run. Have you tried it with less then the 8* of timing posted above? Give the electronics a once over. Fresh boots. Clean all the connections and grease them with Dialectric. Clean stator pick ups on flywheel. Gap pick up. Etc.
  3. Brandon has taken over his family business and has stepped back from the banshee thing for now.
  4. Oh, you've gone full fourfiddy. You never go full fourfiddy.
  5. You do realize air leaks melt motors down, right? So I guess it makes sense to take a time bomb riding.
  6. I genuinely like the heavier slingshot for trail riding and out of the turns for TT. . Totally helps the bike get in the power.
  7. Just build another motor and keep your current as a back up. No more down time.
  8. 25 is lean. Be careful with the starting fluid.
  9. Never even seen a Roll Banshee. I've seen Doug Roll's old banshee, definitely not a full frame.
  10. Yes. That's why I said buy one of the cheap pieces of shit on the market these days. Buy it, strip it, ship it.
  11. Plenty of 64mm bore stock cylinders out there still. Gotta be patient, but you can totally find them unmolested.
  12. 421cc's is the common mule.
  13. I'd imagine whoever machines you a set would need all of the above.
  14. Measure up what you got and maybe one of the machinists on here can turn you some.
  15. ^ money saved!
  16. Definitely do the pro mod trans. You'll be pissed at your self the first time it fights you for a shift. It's so cheap and you've already got it apart.
  17. Somebody afraid of shrink tube?
  18. What's your definition of mostly drag? If you go to the dunes and park at the strip or hill all day or go to the track and chase the fastest time then I'd go Cub. If you just like to line up with buddies and blast across the open field and ride trails, then the serval is probably more suited to your riding. The wampus term just means they are done in a way to mimic stock cylinders for a sleeper look. Both the Cub and Serval are available in wampus.
  19. For a fella like you wanting to save a few bucks, call Driveline. They have a couple options. Or if you have the dough, a serval is a pretty killer motor.
