  1. That's a pretty small dome for a cub. And you said one of the o rings on the head was chewed up? With out seeing the o ring, I can't be definite, but detonation can make them get pretty gnarly. What kind of timing re you throwing at this thing?
  2. ASV FTW! looks good OP
  3. Those are actually great pipes. Kind of halfway between CPI and Shearers. They hit pretty early and still pull good RPM.
  4. Jfc... Just sold mine to Gusto!
  5. Clue: The fella's at Driveline (Bill & Lane) got their feet wet for years with Vito's.
  6. This seems to be the reason most jump to the 2/1 stuff. In the end, it is way more finicky. If you don't know how to get the stock carbs dialed in well, this will not be easier. Look in to making sure that carb has and EEK needle.
  7. OP, you'll have to order the next size up on the piston and have them bored to fit. Make sure to use a machinist that knows to size the bore to a piston, not some guy who just bores to what some nominal package size says.
  8. Odd. Jim usually set stuff up pretty tight.
  9. Bummer the photos have been wiped. Maybe send him a PM and he could post some. It was tits.
  10. T5's are just fucking lazy. That said, I have a set of them I'd sell ya if you'd like to believe otherwise.
  11. There was a cool write up from a fella on here showing how to template and cut a Poly sheet and mounted it using some U bolts.
  12. I tried to make the switch to the Duncan, but those fuggers are heavy! The only other bumpers I've ran that I like are the AC or PRM. AC would be my first choice.
  13. Friggin dealer... "Do it this way so that you need to bring it here again soon"
  14. Oil is in the fuel. Running a two stroke with no oil can be catastrophic. So why run the motor out of fuel/oil intentionally?
  15. There are far better pipe out there. Especially for the money you're prepared to spend on new pipes. T5's just feel lazy to me.
  16. Fucking Awesome! Like titties, everybody loves titties.
  17. Should be good to go. You could potentially get away with a touch more timing on that set up as well.
  18. Leave the head on. Bend the solder in an L shape and get it over the direction of the wrist pin. Roll the motor over so it smushes the solder. FYI, make sure the solder is filed smooth after you cut it and make sure it goes all the way over to the edge of the bore where it meets the dome angle.
  19. Glad to hear you got it sorted out and running the way it should. Is it idling now?
  20. If the Dyno is showing slip, then your motor is actually making more then it showed. It's quite possible you are overwhelming the clutch springs and pack. Especially if it's some junk set up from Tusk or something similar. Many of the generic clutches out there don't really hold more then 65-70 hp even with what they call HD springs. Hit up Driveline, Redline, or Fast for a quality set up. If that doesn't fix it, throw a lock up at it.
  21. Yes. Didn't you do a pro mod once upon a time? That'll be the best way to combat it.
