  1. Whole new shift shaft. Call up FAST and tell them you're on BHQ and they will mod it before shipping it.
  2. Still better then trying to hot knife off each lug. I'd imagine the sawzall followed with a hot knife would be easier on the ol dick beaters then holding on to a razor blade though.
  3. Split the cases. That is the only way. It did it again because you are using the clutch to much in decel situations. Find a gear and leave it or put it in neutral for long coasing deceleration.
  4. Then you need to figure out the adjuster on the end of the clutch push rod and ball.
  5. SLP over DMC. They will feel like they flatten out faster, but ultimately will make more power. At least that's my take after playing with a set.
  6. New domes can certainly wake a motor up. 21CC is usually pretty safe in a stockish set up. As long as it doesn't have a bunch of timing you should be fine on pump gas.
  7. I think you posted a thread below what ya wanted.
  8. Claimed to be a lot less waiting then CW. We'll see.
  9. Now you tell me...
  10. I will have a 10mm twister update for you shortly.
  11. Arlen pretty much refused to epoxy them knowing that the Mattoons are an option.
  12. As mentioned in our PM, the bike is being torn down. There are lots of pics of banshees with the Roll Design set up. I remember a blue and silver bike that just makes me drool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I own both. The Roll Design are Bitchin'! I also just had Rodger at Fireball build me their Long Travel arms as well, but they are done in light weight chromoly. No good for trails, but the craftsmanship is Top Notch as well. Have a normal set made And I bet you would be just as happy as running the Roll stuff. The roll arms are about $1200 and the Fireball stuff is about $800+ after powder coating. So the biggest difference is price. Aside from that, Fire Ball is now using an updated ball joint set up that is pretty killer. As far as rear suspension components, I'd say a nice swing arm with a round house style carrier is needed. Also a RPM Dominator axle is top of the line. Shocks... I'm more in to the Axis or Fox Floats. Elka seems to have a dwindling track record when it comes time to send them anything.
  14. At least they took care of him with out any trouble.
  15. Is the bike beyond bolt ons? You could be to the point where power is exceeding what the stock trans was intended for. Otherwise... Check Shift Shaft spring and Eccentric adjustment, also inspect the Detent Arm action over the Shift Star. If that checks out you will need to split the cases to see the forks.
  16. Depends on the piston. Some can benefit from a slight massaging of the windows. The new Driveline Weiscos already have optimal window placement so there is nothing left to gain on those. The forged WSM's aren't bad out of the box, but there is a little touch up you can do. I would reccomend against going nuts and trying to make the windows all huge because in the end you start taking away from the integrity of the piston and weaken it. There are other little tricks like little boost holes and what not that I have messed with. The results only showed in reliability though.
  17. Pretty sure the Twister isn't stepped like the CrankWorks. Also, Lou makes the web the absolute largest webs you can fit in the case. The last one I saw from his shop was older, but it was a 7mm and the web was larger then stock. Not a ton, but enough to help the issue at hand.
  18. It'll be over killed in mattoon's, so I hope to just bypass the weakened case issue entirely.
