  1. He is definitely underrated. He has been messing with the CP stuff since it came out. Believe it or not he's one of the fellas who managed to get cheetahs to run worth a damn. Give his face book a look. There was a video of one of his cheetahs doing ice oval. Guy gets a tad squirlly and lets it off pipe. Gives it a quick chop and it's on the charge at full steam.
  2. If I can save some more scratch, I might beg JT to do cases for me. This is going to far...
  3. Look at what happens when he really welds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Race Tech. Fuck I'm still having a hard time with that decision.
  5. Ceramic blanket..... I've got a Heated Blanket in the trailer but need a new inverter. Not sure it'll be worth the fuss. And as always. Get a heater for the pits. Not only will it keep the bike warm, but you and your gear. I don't know about you, but I'm way more relaxed when I'm comfortable and a lot more patient when wrenching if it's sort of warm.
  6. Shouldn't be a problem with the ol' West Coast chop shop HP and DuneCat have been running. They always got pretty stellar stuff popping up. All the full bore guys are getting bored and want glass. Shit comes in spurts.
  7. Woodya just lookit dem welds....
  8. See, they're the cat's cunt mate! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Mat Shearer can Hook you up! He does them raw with torch lines all the way around. Sick made yo....
  10. My bike idles almost 10 minutes in the winter before heats on the ice. The race fuel helps temps climb pretty quickly.
  11. Get a manual and familiarize your self with it ASAP. It's clear this is all new to you and you really aren't sure where to start or what to even look for. The clymer manual will absolutely help with that.
  12. Hybrid is in another league, imagine it on the 1/2 mile courses.
  13. Gotcha
  14. On oxygenated fuel, I'm changing mains every 10 degrees under 32*. Keep an eye on air temp and what the EGT's are. Keep a log. It will make tuning become second nature.
  15. Those were LT?
  16. Get her some gauges and a little bit of ink. Then promptly put a ring on it and hold on to the crazy train until it gets to fat or forgets how to make you a sammich!
  17. All true, but remember most guys here aren't racing MX competitively every week. It's fellas who still like to crank it over a jump, but don't ride like pros. I'm not saying guys here don't know how to ride well, but there's a difference between a well seasoned racer who can rail the machine through the turns with enough momentum to ease it up and over a jump right out of the turn. Where as guys that occasionally go to tracks and rec ride a lot, tend to not carve the turn under the same pace and come out of the turn and give it a hand full of throttle and more or less have to huck the machine over the jumps. I myself have come to appreciate an unnecessary amount of power in some situations like that.
  18. This is the only way to get a WCR without the headache! should sell quick.
  19. Grab a clymer manual and begin familiarizing your self with diagnostic procedures. Start with compression test, and then if all is well and the motor has life in it continue on with electronics.
  20. Ditto
  21. Nonsense.... This is the first I've ever heard and I been playing with these things since the 90's. Might be time to change friends.
  22. I've seen him stock Japanese bearings cheaper then everybody.
