  1. I thought it was a drag 250r.. whatever it is I dont think theres a handful of OEM parts left on it.
  2. Could be a Polaris Cyclone.. I think they were only made for 1 year, b/c they had way to many problems... they were a 250cc 2 stroke..
  3. You would, some wont, so fuck off panzy! My name is Brad, I'm 21. Living in Southern Ontario,Canada. Unfortunitly I'm currently working in a factory and hope to get on with a local Yamaha dealership as an apprentice and go from there. Tryed the college thing twice and it doesn't seem to be for me. Love to ride my 03LE banshee, and might end up moving somewhere south as theres not any dunes close by.. 04Yamaha and I went to Silver Lake last year and I quickly came to realize that Dune RIDING is the SHIT.
  4. I would recommend that if anyone else has this done, be sure to have the PCer tape off your stud threads... Really sucks to have to use a die to clean them up again. And Be FUCKING careful cleaning off the gasket surfaces with a razor blade.. the aluminum surfaces cuts like butter..

  9. Gearsavers a serious waste of money.. I'd rather change my oil 3 times for the price of one change of gearsaver... I run the 10w40 Castrol motorcycle oil, without any problems at all. I think if my piss looked like spent gearsaver i'd be heading to the emergancy room..
  10. Just what the title says... All you happy v-force owners must have some you can part with.. Thanks Brad
  11. I dont think those are real Keihens at all. Those asian companies can copy and put names on whatever they want.
  12. FYI.. those are T-6's and if your looking into a Cub down the way you might also want to consider different pipes... Brad
  13. why and for me? I didn't ask you anything and you didn't respond to anything i did ask... Good job
  14. Nice job I ported mine a couple weeks ago and I was told by TDR to take that middle bar right out.. so i did, with a hacksaw blade... seems like leaving it in and just thinning it would offer more support though Do you plan to run the heavy metel stock back plates to keep the reeds under control?
  15. After just seeing newly installed ASR arms (yamaha04's) in person, I really dont think they will accomadate YFZ shocks, I dont think they'd bolt right up on the bottom(unless you get out the grinder) and it looks like they'd rub the back side of the upper a-arms, as the YFZ shocks are alot fatter than stock banshees. I think ASR is trying to make a sale, telling you that they'd bolt right on..
  16. Thanks Guys, Cheapest I've seen the dual rate non rezzy works for is 329.99, probally cant go wrong with that. Anyone else have any opinions, or experience with either?
  17. Hey everyone, Just looking for some opinions on relatively cheap shock options. How would works dual rate No/res compare to YFZ shocks, obviously the YFZ shocks would be better suited for motocrossing where they would be less likely to fade. Also what in your opinion are the works triple rate no rezzys, like? anyone have them? and last but not least Works dual rate with rezzy VS YFZ, they would be quite comparable in my opinion, but i've never rode either, they just appear that way. These would be likely to go on +2+1 arms down the road, if YFZ's are the top pic they'd be going on arms that would be suitable and not rub, quicksand, sanddraggon etc. Thanks for any input, only care to know what you've guys with experience think. Brad
  18. perhaps not, i posted 2 weeks ago looking for carbs and intakes.. not too many people seem to want to give up their intakes.
  19. I thought bills pipes were just nickle plated.. No where near as good as any toomeys.
  20. Does anyone have boonemans email, and where is he located? wouldn't mind sending my bitch down to him. Thanks
  21. Hey there, I'm looking for one unmolested stock reed block. Let me know if you can let go of em, thanks Brad
  22. I've had the standard razrs and they lasted a good 2 seasons and seemed to be a very good tire. All I ever hear is that they will outlast holeshots, perhaps not all the models but for up to $30 less a tire, you cant go wrong with the razrs. I plan on running the Kenda knarlys next time around, the Kenda klaws look to me like they'd wear out quick.. Just out to try something different.
  23. Hey everyone, Just trying to make my motor look mean for next riding season, and i was wondering how well those clutch cover inserts and water pump covers hold up. Im talking about the polished ones that you find on fleabay with designs ingraved, I would think they would scratch up pretty quick from riding and look like crap in a couple of weeks. Just wondering how they seem to withstand boot punishment. Thanks
  24. Did you paint that clutch cover with Chrome paint? turned out pretty nice.
  25. The toomey kit recommends you remove your airbox snorkel and it comes with 12 airbox vents.. the kit i got didn't come with the 2into1 filter set up, for me the 280 mains and their needles worked great, im about 400ft above sea level.
