  1. Hey Folks, Recently I tore my banshee all down and split the cases to attempt to find the issue I've been having. So far I'm stumped so I thought I;d ask for help. Before tearing it down I would get "grinding" when releasing the clutch all the way. It felt like the pressure plate was rubbing the cases. I went through the clutch(all new), readjusting and re intalling, only to still find I had the grinding vibration when the clutch was released. So I decided to tear it apart futher, I figured a bearing must be gone somewhere. They all look fine.... Anyone else have this issue in the past? I notice that both transmission gears can be pushed and pulled a few mm back and forth while sitting in the cases, but thought this play might be normal. Thanks for any help

  4. Since our dollar is on par, I guess this may only be appealing to the Canadian riders on this forum. Here's a link to show what banshees are going for in the area... Just so you guys know I'm not nuts. http://belleville.kijiji.ca/f-banshee-Classifieds-W0QQKeywordZbansheeQQisSearchFormZtrue

As topic states.. I am looking for a set of 19cc domes in perfect shape that have been cut for a 4mm crank. Thanks Brad
  7. I would like to trade a set of 4mm cut 20cc domes for a set of cut 19cc domes. Thanks
  8. Send your cylinders to a shop in the USA and get them ported right the first time around. I got ripped off $350 by a local builder here in Ontario so I'd never try to find someone local in the name of convenience again. There;s a place called 725 Motosports in the Belleville area.. Avoid it.
  9. These cases are in excellent condition. Looking for $250 Shipped. Will post pics shortly.
  10. Looking to sell this set of cases if I can get close to what I've got into them. They're off my 03 banshee, I've had them Powdercoated gloss black, they're in Mint shape. I'll clean them up and can get some pics. $250 shipped.
  11. As topic states, I'm looking for a keihin 38pwk carb for an atc 310R build.. May also be entertain a 39pwk. thanks
  12. I'm looking for a 38pwk carb for our atc 310r.. Any chance you'll part these carbs?
  13. HeeeeHaww There will also be a group from planetsand/atvdragracers that will be there during that weekend, I think they have upwards of 10 folks in their group as well. Met them once, seem like a great bunch
  14. Looks cool for sure, but as soon as you drop either a snomo or streetbike motor into a quad it is no longer valid for the original discussion. Those half breed bikes don't get much respect from me. Unless they're really well put together, I dont know how anyone can get excited.
  15. It wouldn't hurt to run a tank of 24:1 - 32:1 through it first before switching to 40:1.. Its good to break them in with a richer oil mixture in my opinion.. but even so, I dont think thats what caused this.. It does look like a lack of fuel and or air leak, but it sounds like you went through all the right steps.. Fuck there's nothing worse than not knowing for sure what the hell caused the failure.. Hope it can be figured out.
  16. Whoa.. Sickening! Is it a Boss intake your using? Alot of people have found them to have airleaks.. I took the rubber pieces off and put some sealant on them, then tightened them back on.. Never had a problem.. Your doesn't sound like it could be off nearly enough to cause that.. And not to be a smartass, but your certain that the piston rings were seated correctly in the ring groove? I see in those pics that they aren't, but its easy to have em slide out of place while holding them..
  17. I'll trade 19's for 18's.. PM me with shipping details I'm from Ontario Canada, but can ship them USPS no problem.
  18. Is a -3 almost too extreme? I mean I want to be able to hook up, but once I do I dont want to have to sit on the gas tank to accelerate...
  19. I think I'll be getting a sway bar for sure.. Do you want the front tires to be 2" smaller than the rears? I'm seeing alot of 18 fronts 18 rears for sale.. I understand I may have to go up a tooth on the front gear to keep the same ratio.
  20. Looking at the Hoosier tri-track tires.. What compound is best for hard clay surface and loose dirt/gravel surface.. I'm assuming both would be requiring a different compound, but the loose dirt surface is a more important race.
  21. Anyone have experience with 300ex front shocks and a lowering block for the rear?
