  1. I have a spare cool head laying around and it needs a new home! It is a noss machine head with 19cc domes. It is the polished one and it is in great shape. Would like to get 150.00 for it. Will post pics after work tonight
  2. sorry to hear that man! hope everything heals up and ya can ride. brents ol lady is getting a screw removed from her foot a week before we leave, but she says she will ride one way or another.
  3. you should be all set. Make sure to clean the threads in the flywheel real good before threading the puller in, and makes sure the puller bottoms out before you try pulling the flywheel. An impacket helps alot in the removal process also.

  5. I am gonna say no on running with a cub. You are trying to race a play bike against a drag bike. Friend of mine has jeffs dune port and it is a blast to ride! 35pwks cpis +5 timing 19cc domes in his noss machine head. You can ride the bike all day long and still have fun on the drag strip with it as long as you dont line up next to a full on drag bike. He is running a 6 over arm on his though. It will still pull the tires no problem.

I ran 15-44 with 9 paddle comp cut paddle brats when my bike was on gas and it hooked great!! also was running an 8 over. now I am running a 10 over with 11 paddle triple buff extreams with alky!! you could still pull the front end up real easy with the 8 over. with the 10 over and the lowered shocks my bike pulls the front wheels about 2-3" off the sand and it carries them!

  8. Ic, I think if I was gonna do it all again, I would build a 20 mill dm cheetah. That way there I would ride it and scare the shit out of my self and I could detune it till I could handle the power! then I would never have to build a bigger one! :yelrotflmao:

  11. why are you wanting a cub cylinder?? just to say you have one?? you do know that a properly set up set of ported stock cylinders will give a cub cylinder a run for its money in the woods right?? I used to try and trail ride my 4 mill when it was on gas, but by the time I got on the pipe I was looking out into the woods and almost blowing the corners. I started with a short swinger and I could not steer the damn thing. So in order to keep the front end on the ground I went longer on the swinger. Then it was hitting trees because it was to damn long. I have been riding since I was 3 years old so that was not the problem. I think unless you are drag racing all the time a cub cylinder is a waist of money. Also if you are gonna build a drag motor go the whole way, lock up, override, shearers, or cpis, 35-39mm pwks, longer swinger +8-10 at least. A buddy of mine had jeff from FAST Aggressive dune port his stock cylinders and that bike flat rips, and the power comes in low and hard. I would estimate that it is a 80-85 hp bike. I will let ya know for sure after we dyno it this spring. Thats enough power to hold its own to just about anything other than a full drag bike , and you can trail ride the shit out of it! But do what ya want its your money.
  12. I keep tossing around the idea of selling my play bike to fund the other one, but I am like you. I still like to go out and screw around now and then, and it is nice if you have a friend that has nothing to ride you can throw him on the ol play bike and not worry about it. I think we are finally learning.

  17. low900rr said he can get us pc real cheap so I think thats who we are gonna use. He also said he can get it done in a day or two.
  18. cool heads do run alittle cooler, and they give you the option of changing the domes when you decide to change up your engine combo. The after market domes also have a little different squish angle cut in them which will give a little performance difference.
  19. bump up the compression, and get your self some 35pwks. Then get with a reputable builder and have them converted over to alky. They will know where to set your mains and dumps at, and they will also install the power jets for ya. I had FAST do mine and they work great!

  22. compression really does not effect jetting. If there was water in the stator cover thats not good! get some electrical cleaner and clean the stator off, did you ohm the stator??
  23. dont forget to factor in a new top end to the equation. There is a learning curve to tuning alky, and you will probably melt a hole in a piston a couple times before ya figure it out.
  24. they usually dont check dbs on slow weekends so you should be alright. I never had a problem with my play bike. Yeah just let me know what room number ya end up with and I will call right after ya! I will roll film if ya want to tear ol bob up! gonna be a good trip I can tell already!
  25. mine is goin to the frame shop to get the subframe installed, then powder coated. Cylinders are on there way back finally, so it looks like I will get a week or two for testing this time. Oh and fuck Millennium technology's as usal they would not cover the plating on my cylinders. Dont know why it was my fault the plating pealed but thats big business for ya! At least everything will be brand new and I can start fresh this year!! Dave you get rooms yet?? gonna try and get side by side rooms again. I love to party all night, so anyone that does not want to go to bed at 10 with the old folks I will be game for tossin some back!! :laugh:
