  1. my buddys dune ported 350 was breaking up in the higher rpms and it ended up being the flywheel! Just something else to consider. I dont think you are running out of fuel but if you are you could always put a fuel pump on it. Get one off of a twin cylinder snowmobile and plum her in. Also make sure your floats are set right, check to make sure the needle and seats are clean and not sticky. You could also gut the stock gas cap, drill the vent line hole bigger, and de screen the stock fuel valve and drill the hole in that bigger. Make sure you are using big enough fuel line, and that the tee in the line is not restrictive. Dont count out electrical components also. A bad stator or coil can cause a high rpm miss also!
  2. :yelrotflmao: my shearers are just starting to make power at 8500!!!! ::
  3. stockers? pwks? pjs? what are you looking for and or need to know???
  4. :yelrotflmao: sounds good to me!!
  5. mine have shearer stamped in them, its right where the pipe mount bolts to the pipe! Do you happen to have any pics of them?
  6. if they are small bore in frames you will have no problem getting rid of them!! or you could see if anyone wants to trade you for some tommeys or some thing.
  7. thanks for lookin out dave! yeah I am just waiting to hear back on how he would like to be paid.
  8. FAST RACING has them. They work really well in the loose sugar sand!! float real well also! super light if ya get the comp cut ones! ran them on my drag bike when it was on gas. worked real well.
  9. I wanted to take him to the track the other day, but momma said he was alittle to young for that. As soon as he can walk, I will have him on some sort of 4 wheeled machine!!
  10. if its a drag setup go no link. Its lighter and cleaner looking. Also you can have the shaws re valved pending on rider weight swinger length link no link etc.... most of the drag arms I have seen use 3/4 chrome alloy tubing.
  11. triple port stock cylinders! the sides of the cylinders where welded. I think he was running an rk tech head also, but I cant remember.
  12. yeah he was a real cool guy to talk to, real helpful on bike setup also. He said my little 4 mill surprised him!
  13. there was a set for sale over on planetsand not to long ago. Try posting a wanted add over there. Thats where I got both sets of my paddle tires.
  14. the blue bike is a 350 drag port stock cylinder, runnin alky and an override! thing runs damn hard too! He says its his play bike.
  15. still have the other set of pipes? pics please, and a price would help! [email protected]
  16. how much for the pipes? don't happen to have the silencers do ya?
  17. just make sure the silencers have fresh packing in them, and you should not have a problem. Most of the four strokes out there are twice as load as the shees are!
  18. they dbed my bike when it had t-5's on it and they let me in. just dont be that guy flying around the parking lot and reving the piss out of your bike while in line and you should not have a problem. I do not like the hush kits! they do not let the bike rev out and they put way to much back pressure on the top end! But to each his own, and good luck!
  19. after we drained mine up over labor day and I let my carbs sit on the bench for a couple of months, my floats where stuck!! No big thing though.
  20. lol oh boy! Have fun cleaning the shit out of the float bowls! it is not much fun! I have an aluminum one that I built at work, I just have to post a pic of it up on ps to make sure its gonna be strong enough. hate to have it break about the 200 ft mark!
  21. Clunked my melon?? na I think it was the 4 days strait in the hospital with no sleep! I think I may be able to sneak out for a bit, just dont tell the ol lady what I am up too! I am thinkin I am gonna build a strut for the rear of mine, for when I go to the track.
  22. anyone gonna make it up for the 4th of july?? I think I am going the weekend before the holiday. that is when the fireworks and all that fun stuff are happening.
