here is a fuel pump pic I found

The alky is real porous, so it absorbs water real easy. Then it evaporates and leaves all the water laying in your motor where the alky used to be! causing your bearings to rust and take a poop! For a purge bottle. I just use my old coolant overflow bottle with the old tee fitting from the stock fuel lines. On hook your fuel lines from your tank, hook up the purge bottle, fill it with gas oil mix, and fire the bike up. Run it till it gets real boggy like, it smokes like crazy. Shut her down, unhook the purge bottle and hook your fuel lines back up. Also, you can either fill your tank all the way to the top with alky and plug the vent, or you can drain the tank and leave it dry till ya wanna run it again.

depends on what kind of porting you get, and what you plan on doing with the bike!

Yes I do!! I broke out one pass with a 4.48, but I moved on because the other guy broke out real bad!! Glad to hear she was ok! Asome job missing everything though phils sand drags is where we are gonna try and go next sunday. For some reason I was thinking it was in fowlerville. had a great time! was fun hanging out with everyone, and meeting some new faces. I ended up taking 2nd place in the bracket races!! Got a nice trophy and 100 bones!! Bike ran great all day. Was also nice to see daves bike run good all day!! Oh and You and I both know that one race I have a half bike ahead!! :biggrin: Will keep everyone posted on the local track for next weekend!

I hope they both run good all day! I know if mine breaks it will be a while before I can get it put back together, and I wanna go to the dunes for labor day!!

I was gonna try for the slowest et award, that way there I can pick up all the beer cans for gas money home. :yelrotflmao:

If you go with a 4mill, you should have the cylinders ported to match the longer stroke. If you do not, you will not be getting the most out of the stroker. I would replace all the seals and gaskets, I would also get a billet water pump impeller because the stocker is plastic, has been known to break and trash the engine. Also gonna need new pistons and rings. I would put new wrist pin bearings in it too! Make sure to check the clutch over real well, and look for deep grooves in the clutch basket, if there are any its time to replace that as well.

I just run the stock rad. with engine ice. Your engine will run alittle cooler with the engine ice. I think what you have going on there is just one more thing to give you headaches on the side of the trail.

ditch the bottle and lines! only one you need is the one coming out of the left side of the rad at the top. I leave that one, but I cut it off just long enough so you can zip tie it to the frame by the left pipe.

sold my pipes, and just got my out of frames from cj's. Very nice pipes!! Cant wait to put them on!

I think if ya tig welded the new flanges on, you would not even notice. I think I would be getting some sort of compensation for them though!

he bought a set of same side, big bore shearers!! out of frames. only thing you need is a tether, pants shirt and I would say boots. oh and a helmet and goggles of course.

Good to hear!!! I had a deal fall though over on planet sand, Now I am waiting to hear back from a couple people on here. I have been waiting to call cj in case something like this happened! I guess if he sells them, I might just have to buy yours dave!
