the lonestar axles have splines where all the hubs mount. over time and use the splines get wore out and the hubs get lose. there are two options to fix this. one, put epoxie on the splines and put the hubs on, or buy a new style axle with key ways instead of splines. like a jj&a or a fireball racing etc...

mine blew up when the temp out side changed on me and I didn't compensate enough for it! broke a piston skirt which was sent flyin threw the case half and trashed my plating on the cylinder. when you jet an alky bike it is completely different from a gas bike! there are a couple really good threads on planetsand on how to read an alky plug. word to the wise, start out pig fat and lean your way down slowly! alky will still run really well even if there is raw fuel sprayin out of the pipes! likes compression in the 170-180 range, and it likes a bunch of timing! will make more power if you get a set of domes cut that are designed for alky also!

or a piston, set of cases and a replate!! oops! but damn does it run hard when tuned right!

take as many classes in high school as you can! cause when you get out and you decide to go on to collage you have to pay for all of those classes! I did the welding classes and the auto shop and the small engine repair. so when I applied at a tech collage after high school I did not have a problem getting in. you can make damn good money working on cars as long as you are fast and dont make mistakes! I know some automotive painters by me that make over 100k a year.

watch the for sale section on this site, and check out ebay. you can get used pipes pretty cheap. just gotta wait for the right deal thats all. I have fmf's on my play bike and they work good. I really want a set of t-5's though. One of the best all around pipes out there and they work great on ported motors.
