buddy has a dune port from jeff and he is using a set of 35 pwks on it! bike hauls the mail. get with jeff he will hook ya up on jetting.

wcr is who did my tranny! it was around 350 bucks for it.

they work great for up shifting with out the clutch! all you have to remember is to pull the clutch in at the top so you do not back load the tranny and bend the shift forks. And if you are in an overriden gear you do not want to let the clutch out and roll down the hill and use the tranny to slow the bike down. this is where a 2-5 override is nice to have, you can put the bike in first and ride it like a normal tranny, and when you wanna shift with no clutch you click it into second and start bangin gears! The dunable overrides are nice for people that have never rode a bike with an override because if you mess up and forget the clutch at the end of a run it will take the abuse alot better than a regular one! I let my girl friend ride my bike and she has no idea what an override is! I am on my third season with mine now!

how much money do you have to spend on this, and how much money are you willing to put into it? what do you do with your bike mostly?

there was a guy over on amsnow that was selling used ones for 15 bucks a bag of 48. dont know if he still has any or not. I am thinkin I am gonna hit the bay this weekend also. My brother has a friend out there that wants us to come out and check out a bar after the races anyway. I need to swing over to tysons and grab an extra set of power jets real quick and I am ready to roll!

I just finished my second set of ice tires, I can grab ya some pics of them tonight if ya want. I have had good luck with a 2-3 pattern, 3 studs in one row, 2 studs in the next, 3 in the next etc..... I am gonna try 70 per tire this year. I will be out this weekend to try them out. I will let ya know how it goes.

where are you getting your info from? I have had a 2-5 dunable override for the last three years and I have not had a single problem with it! drag racing hill shooting over ride yes! trail riding general screwing off, over ride no!

wheres all the used 10 mill stuff at jeff? I have a hot little 4mill I would be willing to trade in for it! :biggrin:

yeah, I cut it just above where the motor mounts bolt up to. its not hard to do, just very time consuming!

yeah, let us know for sure! I am tryin to get a bunch of newbies up there for the first time this year in april. I will let ya all know when we chose a date.

sometimes you have to grind the edges down alittle to fit into the cases. I have one in my drag bike that works and fits great!

high temp paint will work, just make sure to find the highest temp paint you can get. the head pipe down by the cylinder get hot as hell!

going rate is 300-400 on a used set of cpis.
