last year they did not have the stuff to do the testing. only thing they are picky on is the spark arresters and a flag

I've had good luck with keihin pwks you should be good with a 35-39mm pwk. you have to either have a shop set them up for alky with includes drilling them, installing the power jets and a few other odds and ends or you can do it your self if ya know how. Jeff over at fast has a lot of experience with alky conversions and he has the carbs and everything you need at his place. how far are you gonna be running? I run a pingle valve and bigger bowels on my 4 mill cub and I have not had any problems running out of fuel.

watch the compression and the octane rating of your fuel when you bump the timing up. it will detonate if the compression and timing are to high and the octane rating is to low.

thinking of selling my 4 mill cub drag ported by fast. comes with cylinders pistons crank domes cool head vf2 reeds and intakes. found a deal on a ten mill and if I can off this setup I am gonna snatch that one up! make offers! bike has gone 4.25 on a cut stock frame and a 165lb rider!

jeff has just about everything you could need so I would get everything from him if you are gonna send your engine there anyway

I ran ported stock cages on my play bike, and I run vf3's on my drag bike and I think they work about the same. the vf3's might have alittle more throttle response though. only time I see reed spacers needed is when you are tryin to run big carbs and you wanna get the float bowl to clear the clutch arm on the top of the case

I did this on my smooth buff front tires on my drag bike. But I did it to make the front end narrower! :biggrin:

I have bought many used pipes and they perform the same!

my buddys bike was doing that and it ended up being the magnets in the flywheel where broke!
