what are you building?? size etc.. dave has run both shearers and cpis and his bike likes them both. guess it pends on what your engine likes.

thanks doug, I have the tires, and the studs, the holes are all drilled. I am just having one heck of a time getting the tires off the rims. I need to swing into the atv shop up town and have them bust um down for me. If I get them going, I am gonna try um out on white lake this weekend.

yeah that

grab your self a comfey seat and a case of beer, find your power drill and go to town. Just remember, the more you put in the middle, the better straight line bite you will have. and the more you put in the outer lugs, the better turning bite you will have. I have seen some tires with 500-1000 screws in just the rears! so there really is no wrong way. Another trick is, if you are having problems with the studs pulling out, dismount the tires and cut a piece of carpet to fit the tread area on the inside of the tire, now grab some ice screws that are long enough to go threw the tire tread and screw into the carpet but no to long as to go all the way threw it. Then all you have to do is grab a set of tubes and remount the tires on the wheels

Fast has some really nice gaskets. I always try and get mine from him. Most of the time I can reuse them.

I would hope with a full race port your builder could make 70hp. why are you having him put the pipes on and all that?

did you happen to check everything else out in the motor? I had a set of clutch basket cushions go bad in my play bike and you would have thought there was half a piston left in the bore! I think I would tear the whole engine down and check everything over rel good.
