  1. They would've fetched double if they didn't look like they sunk on the Titanic...
  2. I got it...we're good. And thank you. That's the only annoying thing, you have to check the save a copy for sent items check box... Sorry I didn't see this till now, I've been sort of out of commission the last two days.
  3. My dad has a one place enclosed bike trailer...I might go pick that up!
  4. That makes just a little more sense...I thought we were talking a stock OEM cylinder stroker motor....
  5. Hell yeah!!

    UFC 101

Fedor is the best HW...period. With some more experience, Brock may get to his level...but he's not there yet. A striker like Fedor in his prime would rock Brock. However...if Brock got him on the ground, 280 lbs laying on you is tough, period. Ask Mir, ask Randy. Dana is a smart business man. That's what this is, a business. He will not co-promote, period. He has already said he'd agree to just about anything to get Fedor into the UFC, but he will not co-promote. I don't blame him. UFC is bigger...why should he hold M1's hand for something he helped to build. I don't think either is ducking the other, I think Fedor's management is a little too greedy...and unfortunately, the only ones suffering is the fans. I don't think there's an MMA fan that doesn't want to see Fedor vs. Brock...but like Fedor vs. Randy, I just don't ever see it happening. MJ...you never left. Like a 12 year old at the neverland ranch...you were always there in the corner. I don't see a single worth while fight in the HW division right now for Brock... I think Brock was trying to go WWE in the UFC, and after him pissing in a multimillion dollar sponsor's cheerios (Bud Light) Dana put him in his place. So much, part of his apology included him showcasing a bud light and saying he's gonna drink it. Dana has a leash on him, if he wanted the UFC to be the WWE, he would've put Mike Tyson in a fight. He's bascially going to let Kimbo Joke take his bumps on UF, then if he earns it...a showdown with Brock. If you want to talk about a joke...there you go... Kimbo Glass Jaw. There's more to an MMA fight than a heavy hand, he found that out pretty quick. mmascraps.com has good fight videos after the events as well.
  7. 12s....give or take, again...without knowing a bunch of variables. For example....back in high school, we took a stocker and went from 74mph to 77 by just removing the front fenders.... No BS.
  8. Will be there...trying to find a small trailer to take my bike and Rich's....
  9. Two points here...if everyone could do this stuff, you could build your bike from parts bought at walmart... Then there's know how and experience. With the latter, you can make most stuff work if there is a problem.
  10. With a 13 tooth front? 9's in the 1/8 mile... Without knowing the weight of the bike, your weight...skill, etc. I'd say high 7s to mid 8s.
  11. I'm pretty sure it's 1/8 mile to 1000 foot... If they're running low 9s in the 1/4 on a banshee, I'd like to know what they are running motor/chassis wise.
  12. If it's ported to run with 35's and CPI...it'll run fine with 33's and CPI. I never heard of porting for a certain pipe AND carb combo... You won't be able to tell the difference between 33s and 35s...seat of the pants or a dyno.
  13. How many turns out are the air screws?
  14. Been there, done that...a few times. Luckily, beer isn't usually as expensive as methanol, race fuel and oil...LOL.
  15. I say get T6s or T5s, whatever you get the better price on. T6's still work fine with porting, if you have the right guy doing your engine, IF Porting is even on your radar in the near future.
  16. Unless it's got a LOT of spray or a turbo, no 10 mil I know of...
  17. I don't have a lot of experiences with Cheetah specifically, so don't quote me as bible on this one, but the smaller bore Cheetahs (65 and 68mm) use the same pistons as the cubs. Readily available, inexpensive. When you get into the 72 to 73.5 mm pistons, yeah...that's where it gets pricey. And you pretty much have to go through Trinity. What do you currently have? A well ported stock cylinder setup for a 4 mil crank is very inexpensive and can put out 70 to 80 usable, reliable HP all day long....
  18. That's F'in great...thanks...
  19. If it starts, it'll probably run poorly. And with that low of PSI...it'll be a real bear to start warm. Squirt some two stroke oil down the spark plug holes. Try the compression test again... The oil will help seal the cylinders, should spike the compression test. If the tester is worth a crap (Actron testers are garbage, I use a Snap On, but Matco, MAC or Craftsman make a fine one) 90 PSI is simply rebuild time.
  20. It should be the same length as the spark plug threads. The gauge does not compensate for combustion chamber volume, it gives a true cranking compression reading. If the fitting is shorter, it could account for at least a cc of volume. 1 cc of volume can increase/decrease your cranking compression 8 to 15 PSI....
  21. That bike was a steal for 4K. Somebody got a bad ass riding banshee. That LSR frame and Elka setup would be worth it...I bet it rode like a Caddy...
  22. I have always been a firm believer of a more generous squish band (.050s or so) less compression but more timing. IMO...high compression and tight squish bands put more stress on a motor than needed. Higher compression motors also don't like to rev out nearly as far. You could argue that a lot of timing will take away overrev, which...it will. But it's easier to take a degree or two out than it is to change compression. Compression ratio has more to do with the need for higher octane than timing does...but, with moderate to strong advances in timing (more than 4 IMO) you'll start to need more octane as well. Here's the question...if you bump the timing and get race fuel, are you going to slowly take away octane to see how much it needs? No...probably not. Like most of us, you'll just run higher octane than you need because it's safer. Are you getting 100% performance? No. Are you in better shape than not enough octane? Absolutely. Higher octane fuels burn slower. With the added heat from more compression and timing, you need a slower burning fuel... When the engine doesn't need fuel to burn that slow, it is hampering performance a bit. Not a lot, but a bit.... I probably just created more questions than what was asked...but...I'm bored at work, so there you go...
  23. Any chance you can make these with stock parameters for the override crowd?
  24. Before you buy new intakes, see if the ones you have wills stretch over. Air filters will be the same...
  25. Thank you brotha...preach on....
