Race and blue are correct they only move the carbs back to give more clearence below them. If you get bigger carbs they will hit the clutch cable and cause interference, so the plate solves this problem. As for any improvement, wellllllllllllllll I think the improvement would be about like getting a more aerodynamic helmet . Bottom line it is a way to solve a problem.......

Dave is great to deal with, he'll bend over backwards to make sure that you are taken care of. Plus the NOSS head in red looks Shhhhwwweeeeeeet. Buy a head from NOSS and you wont be disappointed .

You also have to remember that RMATV sends merchandise and gets hundreds of returns every year. If someone ordered pipes and then layed them around in the garage for a week or two, then called and told RMATV that they were not installed and had to send them back. RMATV is going to say sure if they weren't installed. If the person that bought them packaged them up nice and purdy, then when RMATV got them back they may just assume that they were never opened and just restock them. I have ordered thousands of dollars of products from them for three different quads and never once had any problems. So has me dad and so has my brother. They will make it right if given the chance, but one bad experience out of thousands in a year doesn't make them a bad company to deal with. Just my .02,

The T-6's were designed to work best with stock Shee's with little to no mods. From the people that I have talked to and raced with the 6's they say that they drop off fast after they reach the upper end of the powerband. In fact one guy told me that they are shaped like their dyno curve from the side.

I agree with dajogejr (what the hell does that stand for anyway ). I had my flywheel lightened by boonman, and it allowed the motor to spool up into the powerband a lot faster ( the blue band I think ). But it doesn't give you anymore hp it just allows you to get there quicker. I've been runnin' the T-5's and for a non drag pipe I think they are great pipes, especially against my dad's FMF Fatty's. Try the flywheel and if you have the money the T-5's will love a set of VF3's. Boonman will also do the shift star mod which allows you to hit nuetral with the Shee runnin. PM Boony for prices........He's a good guy to deal with.........

$3000 for a 97 with a few bolt ons, what is that in pesos? What do you mean thats cali price, I wasn't aware, do we have our own currency? just yankin' your chain, it really depends on if it is worth it to you, but ya I would start out at $2000 and see what happens

Ya I was wonderin' that too, I mean Christmas has been over for a while. A nice 105 degree outside drag banshee rippin down the track would be cool.

Thats why my local walmart smells funny.......

Well I guess most of you don't live in the great republic, er I mean state of California. $3.47 a gallon seems awfully shitty, when Cheveron brings in record profits this year. I think they need to put that money into improving the situation, not improving stock holdings. But then again I can't bitch too much, I am one of those assholes that drive a 3/4 ton deisel with a 5 inch lift and 37 inch tires and 485 rwh. But damn its fun..............

LOOKING FOR SOME NEW PIPES FOR TRAILS AND HILLS
Animalman294 replied to raptorooster's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
I run T-5's and I think they run pretty strong for a mid level pipe. I mean they are not a drag pipe, but they hold their own. I'm going to run them with my cub setup, only because I can't afford to shell out another 500-600 bucks for another set. -
Ya, I read on here that some people are having problems with the Hot Rods cranks not holding up. I also talked to a couple of builder's and they agreed, but that was a while back so they may have solved the problem now. Just to be safe I would check into more before I bought one. I haven't heard of this happening with Wiesco cranks...............Just my .02

There was a thread a while back that asked that same question, and I think there were several pages, but yamalube seemed to be a favored by the majority that chimed in. I agree, if it ain't broke, don't fix it..............

$150 bucks for a bracket For $150 bucks I can make a hell-a-nice bracket and the rest can buy me a lot of beer for my next sand trip. Maybe I am more practical or as my wife calls it tight with my money, but a bracket would be easy to make for them........
-
Ya, there are a lot of people who don't run them at all and they exit them out the bottom. You just need to check the level a little more often so you don't have problems, but it wont hurt anything. Others like the insurance just in case they are out in the middle of nowhere, but its your. I'm probably going to remove mine because I am getting rid of my airbox and getting pods..........

Whats the address for the swingarm shop? I want a plus four..........

You really need a Clymer's. It is worth the 25 bucks, and it has pictures in case you dont understand something. It is really easy and straight forward, but the book will help.

Whats the site address for the t-dub, and metal tech swingers..........

I was wondering if anyone has used one of these swingarms, and if so how do you like it? Here is the site http://www.geisickperformance.com/. Thanks for any input.................

Sounds like you are runnin' with a main that is too fat for your mods. When you check your plugs they should show you being too rich. I would step down a few sizes, not jus t one and put your needle in the middle clip.....
-
You should check your water pump. Sometimes the stock impeller has fins that break off and make the stock impeller even shittier than it already is. Change that to an aluminum impeller, because they are also more efficient. Just my .02

Ya, Ya milk crates are only good for two things, storing things in my garage neatly and furniture when I was in college. See if Jeff can get you a pic of the crate I built and sent my motor in. I built a plywood box and used the motor mounts in front and made two for the back. It may be apain to open it, but it served my purposes, and Jeff is on-it when you PM him. Just remember if you do send him your motor tomorrow don't expect to get it back in a week especially this time of year. Unless your name is Tyler and go by Loco, then you get that prefferential treatment (suck -up ). Just yankin' your chain Loco. Jeff's good people.................

A clean-up at this time.............

Ya, 35 PWK's, that's what Jeff is puttin' on my 421......
-
I also think that 110 is low for a fresh rebuild, because stock is supposed to be 120 or there abouts. You may also check your gas tank itself, recently I couldn't get mine started and besides having 85 psi in each cylender. I decided to send my motor to Jeff for a 421 cub rebuild, but when I took the fuel tank off I forgot to turn the fuel off. Well come to find out the tank was completely plugged up because there was no fuel coming out at all, so check that also. Plus it may be partially plugged and the fuel may be trickling out. You may also check your reeds to make sure they are not cracked.
