  1. I Have a similar setup and i use a 20x10x10 9 paddle Hauler and it works pretty good for me. They are mounted on .160 douglas rims. Banshees like to spin the tires i would rather have too little traction than too much. On my set up i don't have to use excessive body english to turn.
  2. Neither one will help you turn when they are off of the sand.
  3. My shee has around the same power that you have and i am running 20x10x10 9 paddle haulers with good results. The extreme might be a bit too much bit for your setup. I would think your hp numbers would be a little higher, are you sure that you are jetted corectly?
  4. They will definatly keep the heat in but I don't know if that is necesarily a good thing. I like the fact that the pipes cool off very fast. Maybe it helps keep the motor cooler.
  5. If you are not going through a lot of water or mud I would get K&N Pods with outerwears. I am not sure if they are the cheapest route but they offer great performance and a lot more room then using the stock airbox.
  6. For woods i would get a cool or noss head. When you are running slower on trails it will help keep your motor running cooler, and more reliable. Also drop the front sproket to a 13 tooth for a little more low end.
  7. In Cali you can get 87, 89, and 91 at the pump. You can find 100 at certain stations but it is $6.00 a gallon. It is cheaper to buy 110 and mix it with 91.
  8. Yamalube will definity protect your engine, but it will also leave more deposits than a higher quality oil will. I run Klots r-50 at 40:1 with 100 octane never had a problem.
  9. I personaly like the red. YOu could build on that and get red handlebars or a seat cover with read stiching in it, that would look pretty trick.
  10. Thanks for the help! I will have to post a pic when it is all done.
  11. I just got a trail tech billit bar clamp with tag t2 bars. I am replacing the stock clutch assembly, parking brake, kill switch and light switch. I want to use a illuminated switch. I was curious if anyone out there has done this. The switch would be illuminated while the lights are on and the bike is running. There are three posts on the switch for: Ground, Supply Volts and On Accesory. If anyone knows which wires to use it would be helpful.
  12. Its all about the Dunes at St. Anthony Idaho. They are arguably the best in the U.S.
  13. Get Huaulers for draging and hill climbing, Sand Stars for playing. Instead of looking for performance additives through a little 110 in with the 91. Mix a gallon of 110 with 4 gallons of 91. You will notice a difference. Also is safer for the motor.
  14. I have the Pro Designs Cool Head because it came on mine. But if i Had to buy one i Would go with the NOSS it looks dam good esp. the anodized ones.
