  1. I was looking at buying one that has been fliiped twice from doing wheelies. He had to replace the grab bar. Maybe i should stay away from that one.
  2. I think you are right. I cant believe iI waited until 35 to get into this sport (riding is a blast), just was never around anything to do with off road. I will go with the Banshee and try and pick up a used bike next spring so i will have both. I bought the kids a 90cc and I would be able to ride around with them more. l appreciate all the help from the HQ it made my decision easier.
  3. Decide on getting a Banshee. Looking at an 03 a buddy has for $3,000. He has wheelied on it quite a bit to the point he rubbed the back fenders. Should I stay away from this one, is that harder on the tranny than normal riding? He also fliipped it once and replaced one a-arm and looks like it could use the other side.
  4. Thanks. Thats the advice I was looking for.
  5. I have rode banshees before but have never rode a bike. I can handle the power ( I am 35 6'5 240lbs) I have just never bought one for myself. I was just curious what you guys think about which one is more fun, obviously on this site most people are bias towards the Banshee but it sounds like alot of you have both. I also want something thats not breaking down all the time are the 4 strokes more reliable?
  6. Thats good to know. I thought the Banshee was more prone to breaking down.
  7. Getting ready to buy a Banshee or cr250. Have never owned and atv or motorcroos bike. I am for the most part going to be riding trails. I am trying to decide which one is more fun. Any suggestions.
  8. I am thinking of buying a used 03 banshee. The guy wrecked it a couple times doing wheelies on grass. He replaced the a arm and the plastic is cracked, looks ok but how can i tell if the frame is bent. I can get it for 3,200 so it is a good price.
  9. Is the banshee faster than the dirt bikes?? (yzf 250 or 450 suzukirm250?)
  10. Mostly trails
  11. I am from Dayton, OH. Should I buy a banshee over a dirtbike? I know they are different and both seem to be alot of fun, also are banshees generally faster than say a yzf450 or 250?
  12. I am new to the forum and new to riding. I rode a friends banshee the other day and it was awesome. I have never ridden before and i know nothing about fixing modifying or the first thing about atv's. I am thinking of buying a new banshee or a yz250 or yzf450. Looking at articles on this site it looks like you have to work on them quite a lot, i am still trying to figure out what a reed is??? should I spend that kind of money on something that constantly needs worked on. I would like to learn but it looks like a lot of info. I seen on here that even the wrong adjustment for rich or lean can mees up your engine. I am afraid to spend 6,000 and screw it up. Should i buy?
