  1. this has been brought up many many times already. yes they are stopping productions. no i dont think they are banning them, but its coming to that with this red sticker crap.
  2. happy birthday to both of you!
  3. i dont know about shearers in the trails, real peaky and lightswitch powerband, wouldn't be too much fun. t5's should do. might want to get your head milled .25 and advance the timing +4 also for better low end with the t5's
  4. happy birthday guys!
  5. lol I dont think its a complicated process. take it to a shop and have them do it, but you also have to place them on your banshee and find a place where they clear the frame/etc and then weld them in that place. you dont have to use t3's as I said its all personal preference.
  6. well i say t3 because that's what I would use for an street dragging shee. the reason is because you cut 2" off of the belly and reweld the pipes, what this does is give you unbelievable top end. their's other high revving pipes but I would take the cut t3's out of all thats just my personal preference, you dont have to use them its your choice.
  7. yeah its possible just find some good deals (HQ or ebay). I think someone is selling some t3's in the for sale section, jump on them because they are hard to find.
  8. I dont think you would benefit with 34s or 35s on a play port, go with some 28pwks or have the stockers bored
  9. get some pipes that rev out real nice, I would try some cut t3's personally. I would get a dune/play or an agressive dune port (dependign on your riding style) to go along with it, talk to any builder you want their are alot. v-force 2 reeds, modded shift star, 28-30pwk keihin carbs (or stock bored carbs), if you can find some get a set of RZ350 shift forks and drum (gives you better/smoother shifting), milled head (.25) or nosshead, all new barnett clutch/hinson basket, pro flow k&n no lid, +4 timing. for suspension, just go with some shocks all around since you are on a budget, works fronts and rebuilt rear, and a steering stabilizer. maybe get the stock swingarm extended. also some tires, those hoosier flattrack tires should do well on the streets.

yoshi or Dr. D (dr. d exhaust won the pipe shootout I believe)
  11. even companies online with well known names could be your engine builder (patriot, a&s, passion, dave moore, eric gorr, etc.), just look around. but although I would agree a local builder would be a best, you could send your cylinders to someone if you desire.
  12. i hear its hot as hell in arizona right now, 115-120 degrees. that true?
  13. what's your elevation? if your at sea level, 280 mains, stock pilots, stock needle 3rd clip, air screw 1.5-2 turns out.
  14. the t6 pipes are more midrange. they sound just like all toomeys do. you would be more happier w/ your fattys and porting or other pipes, because the t6's are designed for a stock engine. their are tons of pipes out their, it all depends on where you need the power at. the fattys are a real good all around pipe, but I see your looking for another pipe. where do you ride at?
  15. ok i wasnt too sure about the -2 swinger. about the 5 gal tank, you should get at least 60 miles with it. its better to have it incase u get stuck out in the desert. the 4 gallon tank holds only .8 more gallons than the stock tank, I dont think that would help out much in a desert race.
  16. yeah that is a sundahl frame. he didnt make too many of them I believe. heres an interview with him, shows off his bike a little, http://www.off-road.com/atv/Sundahl.htm . if you could get one of those frames you would be one happy camper. for now get some nice suspension, you want a smooth ride. +2+1 a-arms, shocks, -2 swinger, rebuilt rear shock, +2 axle, anti-vibe steering stem, steering stabilizer. and some engine mods. a nice dune port, some high rev pipes, bigger carbs, pro flow filter. and get some new tires like you said, but a 5 gal tank. that's how I would set one up for desert racing.
  17. yeah, even the gas
  18. get an eric gorr port, milled head, +4 timing, and then do some suspension like front shocks, -2 swinger.
  19. yeah i agree that shit is rediculous, cheap banshees are hard to come buy out here. people value their atv's too much in cali.
  20. just use the stock silencers for now, they are spark arrested and bolt up to fmf's. t6 silencers wont work only the t5 silencers do, t6 stingers are different. for jetting try a 250-270 main,27.5 pilot, stock needle third clip, air screw 1.5-2 turns out, and take off the snorkel from the lid.
  21. do you have at least pipes?
  22. a 35 would be best if you plan on porting.
  23. gearing always plays the role on how fast your quad will go. nobody is sure yet because no one has rode them. like stuntmasta said the drivers ability is another factor in who wins.
  24. lightened flywheel makes your bike revs faster, if you ride the trails I wouldnt do it. advancing the timing helps out with the low end, this would help out with the t5 low end. what type of riding do you do?
  25. just start taking pictures of him like someone else said, that would be funny as hell
