  1. good for you. the mids are proven. I bet if you ran mids with the same setup they would have more low-mid. im not saying the gnarly's arent good but theirs better.
  2. aw man that sucks...well I actually like hollister better than carnegie but we are just going to carnegie this weekend...it rained last night to its gonna be dust free so we can actually enjoy riding. nice to see some riders in the area though...maybe next time
  3. i agree..but mill the head .25 ..run a pro flow foam/k&n . pt mids provide the best low-mid for dual pipes with still good top end.. run a 2 in 1 if you ride tight trails, other than that you wont like it
  4. Making a trip to carnegie this saturday for you Cali riders...bright and early. Will be a large group of quads, a Silver GMC flatbed truck, and a chevy van. It would be cool to see some faces from the HQ that are in the area...
  5. damn so they charged you about 275 bucks for the repairs...
  6. none :\ .. wish I had some tho...gonna take a trip to tahoe this winter and bring the atv's
  7. you should get the suspension hooked up first before anything...that's most important...might need a good $1000+ , extended a-arms, front shocks, shortened stock swinger, rebuilt rear shock, extended axle, etc.
  8. increasing the compression doesn't require you to change the jets...only if your changing the air flow...like rnbrad said you could increase the timing +4 but it's not neccesary..and you don't have pipe's so I would wait on that.
  9. 34's are too big...anywhere from 28's to 33's...I would go with the 28mm pwk's though...just my opinion.
  10. yeah that's very true also...but I just wonder how each set of pipes would perform with the gorr port... sort of which pipe would most compliment/get the most power out of the port the MOST...like I havent heard from anyone running the port with fatty's, or anybody running pt high revs with the port,
  11. for dragging and messing around in the open they should do great...from my knowledge the t3's are pipey and top end
  12. oh ic...I remeber from a thread a while ago...banshee17racing switched from t5's to pro circuits with the gorr port and said the pc's worked way better..just wanted to add that
  13. i thought u ran dmc's?
  14. i've always wanted to compare the gorr woods port to the patriot mx port on stock stroke. not trying to hi-jack your thread or anything but it would be nice to hear what pipes respond the best with the port.
  15. shearer has more over-rev but a lightswitch powerband, that's why they are best for dragging.. cpi's fall off a tad sooner than the shearer but have a better overall powerband.
  16. it's on their secret menu .... animal fries are fries covered with cheese , spread, grilled onions, and pickles.
  17. double double . didn't think animal fries were all that good
  18. if u notice they cut off the dyno sheet while the cpi's are still climbing. for your type of riding, out of those 3 pipe I would choose the t5's. but 1 question, WHY ct racing? I haven't heard anything good about them, you can get your money's worth somewhere else. their are lots of good builders, patriot racing, passion racing, a&s, GRR, etc. Get a MX port
  19. got pics of the pt mids?
  20. but...they can pull a taller gear EASILY giving you rev ability since they have so much midrange torque, and no lag before the powerband. stick to a midrange pipe you will love it
  21. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...topic=45590&hl=
  22. yeah i know i know.... my uncle and his friends have them so im surrounded by banshee's...just love em so much...my parents have always been tripping though about me getting one, I might have to wait again the guy went with a deal for a dale :\
  23. finally, I might be getting a banshee either today or tomorrow. Need to know is their anything to look for while i'm inspecting it. It's a 2002,T6 pipes, V-Force 2 reeds, ricky stator timing plate, twist throttle, k&n pods, paddles. never been rolled or crashed, ridden in sand only, stock top end, starts first/second kick, low hours.
  24. get some midrange pipes for the trails (fattys, pt mids, dmc's), pro flow foam air filter setup, stock carbs perform pretty good but you could try some 28mm pwk's if the motor has some mild port work done to it. if the throttle is choppy you need to jet more richer.
