  1. i agree with dajogejr, t5's for the revs, or fattys for the torque. with any pipe, porting is a must to get the most power of what you bought. i'd get pipes, milled head, then porting. worry about bolt ons later.
  2. if you noticed, when you replied to the thread it got bumped to the top, as all threads do. dont you sound silly.
  3. get the toomeys if you like to rev and ride WOT. fattys if you want good low-mid for the trails without giving up much mid-top for the straight aways. not sure about trinitys, I would say they are comparable to the power of toomeys. you can score some toomeys or fattys easily off ebay or the hq.
  4. uh this topic is like a year and a couple months old, he already has some cpi's if you look in his signature. dont revive old threads
  5. +2+1 Quicksand A-Arms and some Elka Dune Edition Dual Rates. stock width is only good for tight trails/woods. wide is better, adds stability and better handling to the quad.
  6. 7500 is pretty steep , you would probly get no less than 5k for it. good luck selling it.
  7. thanks for that reply dlnoss, just wanted to hear from the man himself.
  8. I think they shave off material to a certain point. pm boonman, he can hook you up for a fair price. and definately shorten the swingarm, check out www.quicksandmotorsports.com/ , they shorten your stock swingarm for about 140 w/o powdercoat. if your racing and getting new shocks, get rezzys too. and you might want to run an airbox, just my opinion.
  9. like I said, I wouldnt want to change domes. i dont think increasing the amount of coolant in the head would do anything because after 5-10 minutes of running it will be up in temps no matter what. unless someone has done a test to see if aftermarket heads cool the temps more than a stock head I dont think the extra dough is worth it.
  10. well if where you ride is wide open i would go for some high revs, but you cant go wrong with fattys, I would say its personal preference. I would go with either t5's or rockets for wide open riding, but for like tight trails and forests, fattys.
  11. like i said not %100 sure on that question. alot of companies stop making good pipes, doesnt always mean newer is better. the old fmf's were susposed to perform better than the new ones, I read on a post a while back.
  12. no its not, just invest the 30 bucks in a adjustable timing plate. the only thing they are good for is bling on the motor
  13. im not worried about changing domes, but the cooling. couldnt you just run some fins in the radiator line and engine ice with the stock head be at an ok temperature. just saying as a cheaper alternative for a $260 aftermarket head.
  14. what do you guys think is a better alternative, milling the stock head .30 or getting a noss head?
  15. first get a set of new pipes and the noss coolhead. then get porting and worry about bolt ons later, you wil be much happier with porting. like 05bansh said, talk to dlnoss about your elevation and if u want to run pump gas or race gas, he will tell you what domes you need. as for pipes, for the trails: fatty's, dmc's, pt mids. for the dunes: cpi's, shearer's, rocket's, t5's. if you ride all around you'd probly be much happier with fatty's.
  16. im not 100% sure but I heard the old school ones were better
  17. I think those are the old school fattys
  18. damn i meant to say he used to make them. i've seen video of one of those things running at full speed , they soak up everything. i got the vid from the sandbros website.
  19. . heres another joke. a guy is about to have with sex with his girlfriend. he says "you've got a big pussy, you've got a big pussy." she asks him "why did you say it twice?" He replies, "I didn't, the second time was an echo."
  20. I was justing thinking about those things. I hear dean sundahl doesnt make those frames, they are sick tho.
  21. fattys, dmc's, or pt mids
  22. doesnt mean there still parts for it. you can find parts on ebay and online shops for it. plus buying engine parts from a shop is cheaper than the banshee because its only 1 cylinder, so there really isnt a need for buying stuff from people parting their bikes. im not saying the 250r is better in the dunes in any way, all i said was give something else a try. you can make the r a badass machine dont get me wrong, same goes for the banshee. never said i had a 250 either, all i said was try something different. and yeah you would probly beat everyone back to the camp with that nos your runnin. you've never ridden with me so dont judge my riding. its more about the rider than the quad. stop being so fucking big headed.
  23. i wouldnt waste a whole 20 grand on a banshee, it should only take you around a good 2-4 grand to build a nice duner
  24. damn you guys rode to school, thats pimp. no law against riding atvs on the street in canada or what?
