Anyone have any experience with magicracing.com? I am going to order soem parts from them tomarrow & was wondering what people have experienced with them.

micing your jugs isn't very had to do anyway, so if you cant find the bore....

The gas shutoff had a lot of reasons...to prevent leaking if you have a bad gasket, to prevent gas from just sitting in the lines and carb bowl. Its also a good idea so if there is ever a fire around your bike so that you don't have live gas lines. There are probably a lot of reasons. I know a guy who lost 2 quads on a trailer when there was a short in some electrical line and it started a fire. His gas lines were on and caught fire... Frames came in a lot of colors, I don't what all of them were, but I know they came in red, black and silver at the least. I duno about graphics. I don't like to have a lot of stickers all over my stuff or to have fancy graphics all over. My whole quad is all black.

anyone use the degree key instead of the entire timing plate? I remmeber someone saying a site where you can get the timing plate for like $30, but did a search and couldn't find that post.

Come to my house, I have a stretch of prive road that is 6 miles long and damn near perfectly straight. I got some fun hill climbs and my own MX track we can do some additional testing on.

We must have mutant mice in wyoming because those things don't work worth a shit. We had 8 in a 25x25 garage and those little bastards would run right in front of them and not even care. We fixed the problem by pouring gasoline on top of their little mouse nest whenever we would find one and light it on fire. Took a weekend worth of cleaning in the garage, but we haven't seen any since the fires. Fire will fix any problem.

I had an R6 in high school and traded it for some quads. It handed my ass to me twice and that was enough for me.

I did my own port on a spare set of jugs and I am very satisfied with how it turned out. I got a stensil pattern from macdizzy and just went from there. I have a set of jugs with a passion port and I can't tell much of a difference between the set I did myself and those.

Wow, you should not get a banshee. Obviously you don't have the time to maintain the bike you already have, and it would be a shame to see a banshee rusting away. Its not hard to keep them in good condition, I don't see how you could let the bike get that bad in the first place.

I would believe it. If you gear anything right you can go pretty fast. The 22" tires definitely help out too.

I agree with everyone else, get an old crap vehicle for cheap and save your money. I got a 94 jeep cherokee sport 4x4 for $2000 when I was 16. It gets like 20-25mpg with a k&n intake and exhaust and msd. I got a hitch and dinky trailer for pulling my toys for $500. Look around at the local junk car lots and see what you can get for cheap before you think about something like a 454.

I'd go with the port work. You will get reasonable gains even with the stock head and reeds, then later when you have more money you can get the heads and reeds and really wake it up.

I beat one of those things at Walden one time on my freaking Warrior. It has a 400cc bore, 380 cam, titanium valves & springs, Pro-X piston, K&N Intake, MSD Ignition, FMF Megamax II silencer & Powerbomb header pipe. It was funny. Warrior beating a 700cc quad. The guy was not happy. I thought it was pretty funny that i beat him on the bike that I got for my girlfriend. Ha Ha Ha Ha CrapFX700... Belt-Drive, what a joke. Belt Drive is for Snowmobiles.
