  1. I had to do the same on a 10mil cheetah I built a while back. It would suck air around the key. I used the red hi-temp gas/oil resistant silicone that you can buy down at any of the auto parts places. Worked perfect.
  2. Perhaps if jeff had chimed in and corrected the issues I brought up I would be convinced its not truth. I was told by the other party (who requested me to leave his name out of this, and yes he actually did, I'm not saying this just to conveniently leave names out) that jeff was talking "shit" about his services and expertise to his customers trying to convince them not to use his services. He also has not said anything about his forgetting to check critical engine measurements on customer bikes before sending their engines out to them to run. Conveniently enough, the previous owner of what used to be the FAST bike that gregrob has, told us that he blew up a top end and did some damage to a crank because jeff didn't check his squish clearance before sending his engine to him. Perhaps he could tell the other side of the story instead of just telling me I don't know the whole story and continuing the shit talking (which is very unprofessional for someone who is calling themselves a professional builder by the way) If I don't know the whole story, then explain your side of it. Why was he trying to discredit another builders work to the other builders customer? What is his excuse for not checking basic engine assembly measurements before sending out a CUSTOMERS bike. Its a different deal if you forget to check it on your own personal work, but when people are paying for a service those types of mistakes are inexcuseable and irresponsible. The attitudes of jeffs customers doesn't help his business any either. You don't see any of the true professional builders over on planetsand doing things like this. Its petty and bad for business. Just my opinion. And I still don't like FAST. And will be sure to let anyone who I run into out on the dunes or who asks my opinion of builders, know this and will recommend them to someone who conducts themselves with true professionalism. Builders get bashed directly and indirectly every day over on planetsand. Take the whole thread between LC Performance and the 10mil DM video's that turned up on youtube. Lynn didn't go on the attack or start any shit talking to the people who were bashing on him. He simply said thanks for the good times riding and moved on. The people who wanted to know the story asked him about it and the people who didn't... well they probably didn't care. Actions speak louder than words... and jeff has some actions that IMO aren't so great for business. ... and I still don't like FAST. Just my opinion. And I have just as much right to "shoot off my big mouth" as anyone else. Be sure to let us know when you will be visiting somewhere besides the track so we can come get some video of that perfectly tuned bike going more than 300ft. :geek: Also, perhaps you can explain why you were bashing on firehead's work.
  3. Very true.
  4. I need a beast truck to tow my trailer with the drag bike. haha!
  5. It still is. It definitely still is. Only bike I've been on in about 6 years that made my hands shake when I came to a stop after a run.
  6. Who's to say I haven't been down a track on this bike before? There is a dirt track right over in utah that the LC boys help set up... I'll save some slips and post up next time I go. Your comment just goes to show how little experience YOU have with hillshooting. Bring your cub on down to utah and give us some runs. And NO, I haven't touched anything on the bike. At all. So while you're busy sitting here trying to bash on me, you are just bashing on firehead. Those runs I did were with absolutely zero changes in jetting, tire pressure, gearing, shock pressure, anything. Still set up the exact same way it was when I picked it up from firehead. He is confident that 90+ runs will happen once we make some changes. I don't doubt your banshee knowledge at all dajogejr. Your bike is tuned very well at the track and runs good. At the track. I ride at the dunes. I'm not in it to go show off to everyone how fast my bike will do 300ft. The times I've quoted with my drag bike were times firehead did on the bike. I wouldn't mind going to a track and seeing what I can do, but I'm not going to make it my whole life's goal to tune my bike perfect on a track. I got into banshees to have fun and go to the dunes and enjoy being around friends and family who like to ride. I have just as much fun on a bone stock blaster as I do my drag bike. I don't mind tinkering with my bikes and doing what little things I can to make them run better IMO. I have as much fun working on them as I do riding them, and anyone who has been to the dunes with me will attest to this. I may not be as perfect as you are at tuning and getting things to run perfect, but I do ok. I've helped a LOT of people jet their bikes at walden, KP, sand mountain and st anthony. I'm sorry they aren't all members of this site to come running and tell you so, but I don't really mind what you say about my tuning skills since it doesn't affect how much fun I have when I'm at the dunes at all. Zero. Your opinion of me doesn't change how I ride or what I enjoy doing or how I will tune my bikes. Your help with some of my problems in the past has been top notch, and I apprecaite it. I would probably still be screwing with that set of methanol carbs that had .128 dump tubes in them if you hadn't helped me out with it. I'm not afraid to say that I've had problems with things in the past and asked for help. Its all part of learning. I'm pretty sure you weren't born with all the banshee knowledge you have and had to learn from someone just the same as I have. That's why I have a membership at planetsand, and you probably notice I don't post there much. Because I'm still gong through old posts trying to suck it all up. So, sorry I'm not a tuning god of the track like yourself. But I still manage to have a great time out riding and anyone who has been riding with me will tell you the same thing. And I still don't like FAST.
  7. Sounds like they used the engine serial number as the VIN number. I've seen it done before. Just go down to your local police dept and explain the situation and ask them what you need to do to get a new VIN and they will provide you with a little metal tag you rivet onto your frame with a new VIN and certificate of origin.
  8. I'll run ya... How does 152hp sound? My 612 runs 3.7's what about you?
  9. Chase does good work. to that comment. Chase, I need a few of these stickers for my bikes. Whats your paypal?
  10. Yeah. Just make sure its the gas and oil resistant hi-temp stuff.
  11. I've run the hi-temp gas and oil resistant silicone (red stuff) for going on 7 years now and its always worked perfect for me. Never had any sealant issues or case leaks. None. Just put it on and let it dry overnight before you put any fluids in.
  12. I couldn't let you do that man. I tell you what... make me a simple sponsor sticker that has your name on it and I will slap it on there for you. Get you some business if I can.
  13. I sucked his wang this morning too.
  14. Whatever your oil of choice is for your air tools will do fine.
  15. Chase!! Holy cow! You ARE alive! Hows life man?
  16. Nope, I'm not going anywhere unless the nutswinger moderators kick me. Its pretty simple though, just load up a proxy and come back under a different name. Duh. The little things he's talking are crap like the carb top adjusters (stock ones do perfectly fine), carb springs (when you can just cut the stock ones) etc.
  17. Hit up www.cascadeinnovations.net and order a pancake bearing. Pretty sure M&M ATV (site sponsor) carries them or could get you one as well. - Jared
  18. Jeff, maybe you can tell everyone about how you forgot to check the squish clearance on gregrob's bike when its previous owner had it, which caused a blown top end. I figured such an amazing builder would always do stuff like that. How many customer's engines have you forgotton to check other things on before you ship them out? Or how about you tell us all about how you talk shit about slobanshee06 behind his back when you found out he was starting up a pretty good business porting cylinders. Telling one of his potential customers (who you didn't know was one of his close friends) that his porting was shit and he didn't know anything about what he was doing. Trying to run his customers off doesn't seem like something such a "stand-up" guy would do. Its ok though, the cylinders from gregrobs bike have been through the hands of a couple different builders now. And yes, I'm totally horrible at tuning and building everything. I'm 100% certain I could totally jack up your 10mil dajoger. And if I do happen to screw anything up on the bike I traded from firehead, I will just call it's builder for advice or help. And yes, I am totally shady loco, but I ended up with the craptor anyway. LOL
  19. aww, that's cute. Look one of the moderators is using his "power" to show his gay under-tones using other people's names since he's scared to come out of the closet. LOL
  20. ROFL! You feel a good 8 ft vertical and smacked into the ground and your banshee landed on you. Seriously jon, you have the worst luck with crashes.
  21. Sad Day! on a happier note, hey gregrob, how about i give you a blowjob next time we go to the dunes. you know, on the dl.
  22. Sweet! Love those easy fixes!
  23. Fuck yo couch nigga! Love that! Anywho... I use cascade since I can order OEM parts at the same time I order my other junk. RMATV is next on my list if I can't make the shit myself at some random machine shop. Probably go try and bribe firehead to make my shit next after that. Then I would go to slobanshee06 (wildcard racing). Then I would search ebay. Then I would go to the junk yard and dig through trash piles. Then I might consider going to FAST. Naw, probably not.
  24. Which time was that? LOL! I remember taking that pic for you. Then you ate shit and almost died like 10 times.
  25. Uhh... remember where we and jamie ride... lol! Damn all you low-elevation bastards! I have to run 17 or 16cc domes to get decent meth compression.
