  1. You can say what you want about piston and cylinder lookong ok, but your shit should have blown the hell up w/200 mains.
  2. I think he wants to hear the advantages of an aluminum airbox, I see no advantage, I just run w/my lid off for way cheaper.
  3. Unfortunately you won't be able to tell much untill you split the cases. Could be busted gears, bent shift forks, could be bound up on the shift drum, really hard telling.
  4. I agree w/dune girl, sdd, and just about everyone. You were lean. Those little pits you see in the top of the piston are from hot chunks of piston. Head probably looks the same. But you get to get a nice expensive port job out of it, so what the hell.
  5. I have been thinking of some rockets but was wondering will I rub and melt my boots against them like I do my fatty's. This has basically destroyed the appearence of my pipes over time. Or are they kind of out of the way?
  6. Good shit.
  7. You are going to pay 100 for any cargo pant just about anywhere you go unless you happen to stumble across a clearence. But they are a hot item now and I doubt that will happen.
  8. If its reving and you are not going anywhere I would say you better check your clutch fibers. I think your jetting is a little lean also, but it won't rev and not go anywhere even if it is lean.
  9. Greener the Better!
  10. 120-135 psi is good on a stock bore, stock headed banshee.
  11. 7. Don't piss in the wind 8. Don't eat the yellow snow.
  12. Please send me some pics. A good friend is looking for one. Frome the Battle Creek area, so not too far.
  13. Might as well buy the pro-flow kit w/k+n filter. Is 99.99 most places, have seen it for 89.99 though. In Dirt Wheels about 7-8 months back they did a pipe shootout for the yfz450. Before they started, they removed just the lid on airbox and jetted accordingly, then they dyno'd it. W/just the lid removed made 1 horsepower improvement. Not bad for just removing the lid.
  14. Second that! I wouldn't go anymore than +4 or unless you're running racing fuel.
  15. Getting ready to head out of the office to go load the trailor. Hope to see you all there.
  16. I've only had mine for two years, and get just as excited everytime I see it as I did when my best friend had the only one in town 15 yrs ago. It's a machine that will always be admired in the 4-wheeling industry. Pretty sappy huh
  17. Is the cap on the carb tight, or is it the throttle cable going into the tors? If it is just the cap, screw the cap tight, then tighten the screw which tightens the lock for the cap.
  18. Predator .
  19. I use my fatties from the dunes to the woods, but if you want something strictly for woods, there may be a better pipe out there like PT mids, or maybe Bills.
  20. Check out this site. http://www.totoneorest.com/features.html#washlet
  21. Good shit!
  22. Unfortunately that oil seal has a rib that goes around it and to do it correctly it is necessary to split the cases. I have heard of people forcing it in before, but how long till you have to do it again, dunno.
  23. I'm w/led here, not big on the barbed wire feel
  24. It will cost you a lot more money to buy a shee part by part. Unless money is no object and you can afford to piece it together w/ all the best aftermarket parts, I would look for one complete or w/ blown motor that needs some work and tear it down. Then you can evaluate what you would like to scrap, and what you would like to keep. People don't just part out perfectly good running machines on E-bay for nothing. My 2 cents. Forgot to add, nice bike Rips
  25. Word, I have run into that problem. After a fresh rebuild my brand new gauge only registered 90 psi per side on my banshee. Verified w/friends guage, definately off.
