  1. Did you happen to clean the carbs when you put now reeds in? I just had same exact symptoms as you. I had a friend who has a business do some quick carb work for me cause I couldn't do it in time for a trip, turns out he put float bowls back on wrong carbs. They have to be on correct carb or choke won't work for right side. If you look inside your float bowls, they are numbered 1-1, and 1-2. 1-1 goes on left side carb w/ckoke slide. I run almost same setup as you and I run 30 pilots, runs great, starts great.

  4. I'd try turning you airscrews in some, if that doesn't help go up on your pilots, sounds like you are a little lean. Thats all assuming you cleaned your carbs already.
  5. I'd just get it trued and welded and replace the bearings. Only thing that could be wrong other than that is your cases could be warped, but thats a long shot.

  7. In my experience, 05 is right on the money. As a matter of fact, I have told women the same thing she told you, and on an off night got some from them again anyway.

  9. I went up on pilots and moved clip down one positon(to make richer) and run 330 mains w/airbox lid off. I just rode mine yesterday in Battle Creek MI (45 degrees) and it runs strong, no drop off of power in 6th, great off idle response, smooth all the way through. (mods are in sig.) I'm thinking definately move clip on needle, and go up on pilot at least 27.5 if not 30's. And I would try your mains at about 310's and go from there.
  10. A good start would be 310's or 320's and do plug chops from there on to get dialed in. I would try lowering the clip one on the needle, and possibly a 27.5 or 30 pilot.

  14. Great quad for the first time, smaller framed rider. I second the oil block off kit. Trying to buy one now for the girlfriends birthday, and dude is dickin me around and takeing his sweet time. If anyone has or knows of anyone w/ a decent blaster for sale in lower Michigan, or northern Indiana or Ohio, let me know.

  16. Spark Plug will even be wet, so I don't think it is a fuel problem. Used brand new gas and tried starting fluid. I just don't get it. Anyone elses input would be greatly appreciated.
  17. A buddy was riding his Warrior at dunes last year and quad all of a sudden quit. would not start. Replaced spark plug still no help. You can see spark, and it looks ok, so we tried to push start it. After a lot of pulling it around it will start and run, but if you let it die and sit for longer than 5 min, it won't start again. Thought it was compression, and compression test was terrible. So this winter we rebuilt top end, everything went well, timing is good but still won't start. Not even w/starter fluid. Did not try to push start, but assuming same results as before, could this be stator or some other electrical problem? Haven't performed meter readings on electrical yet, but wanted to get some input from you guys before chasing wrong problem. I know it's a four stroke, but thought some of you might be able to help. Sorry for the book.

  19. The cubs produce 15-20 more horse? Thats amazing, can anyone else vouch for this. From what I've heard Jims cylinders rip.
  20. Can anyone vouch for how these cylinders perform compared to Passion 12 port, I think the cost is similar.
  21. I would think they would be real close, I'd just start where you're at. Can't find them but there were some comparison dyno sheets between these two pipes, and they were extremely close, but the t-5's actually had a flat spot in the hp curve.
