  1. Thanks guys! This website never lets me down
  2. Attempting to change the front sprocket from a 14 tooth (stock) to a 13 tooth. What size socket do I need to get that stupid bolt off??? It's bigger than any of the sockets I have and looks like a 23 or higher but I'm not sure and don't want to waste money buying a bunch of huge sockets to just collect dust?
  3. I have it jetted with 30 Pilot jets, 290 main jets, toomey needles set in the #3 position. It's a lot louder than stock... Hope I don't get a DB noise ticket because in Oregon it's only 93 and these pipes are like 95-99 DB.
  4. I did a new set up on my Banshee. K&N filter, K&N airbox lid, Tommey T-6 Pipes and silencers. What do you guys suggest for my GAS/OIL ratio mix? I had been running it stock with Yamalube at 24/1 ( rich I know ) but with the new set up what do you guys suggest? ? ? I don't want to run too rich or too lean. I was thinking 32-1 but looking for your suggestions. Thanks
  5. OK so I'm going riding at in Florence this weekend. Saturday the 5th if anyone else is interested in going feel free to go it should be fun if the weather holds up. I've also created a site for anyone who lives in Oregon and actually RIDES on the dunes in Oregon. I know myspace is kind of lame but the group is to get people together who live and ride in Oregon so feel free to join if you do. http://groups.myspace.com/YFZOREGON
  6. I feel like a retard here asking this question but you guys really helped me out on my last post. Ok my last post my 05 S.E. was running poor, back pressue, not holding an idle. Sure enough the second jet was clogged. ( stock bike K/N filter ) no mods. Ok here is my question it had been over two months since I rode it when this occured, however I had been periodically starting it up for several minutes at a time to insure the motor oil was able to lube the motor. How can I prevent this from occuring again the next time I take it out?. What causes a jet to clog? could it be old gas ( which it had in it) (mixing two different types of premix oil instead of staying with just one type) ( could it be caused from sitting and not being ran or only ran for a few minutes at a time). Like I said I feel like a retard for asking this but the last thing I want is to take it out to the coast and have this happen again. Should I leave the bike on an empty tank and run it till it's out of fuel and dies then only put fuel in it when I take it out?
  7. I bought this 05 S.E. Banshee and it seemed to run fine the first couple of times out however this time out I noticed the bike now is making a popping sound from the exhaust and want's to die instead of hold an idle after it's warmed up. I've never incountered this issue before and I'm wondering if it's a jetting issue. The bike is bone stock. When I'm ridding it it's makes a pop- pop- pop- pop type sound and then when I put it nutural the bike dies and won't hold an idle. At one point after it was warmed up and I hade ridden it for a while I shut it down then when I went to start two minutes later it it would't start until I pulled out the choke. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
