I have my stock tires on stock rims, bike was bought this year, plenty of tread (90-95%+? ) and rims in good shape. I also have a set of stock tires w/o rims, tires were only used for 3 or 4 rides, like new. Can take pics if you like. Interested????

what he says. if your compression is that low, and you know that you need a seal, then dont try to start it. probably only make it worse. fix it first, you'll be glad you did.

If you decide to remove the airbox.......... I have a set of K&N clamp on filters for the stock carbs, along with the outerwears.

bull gap isnt quite SE michigan, however there arent many places to ride in southern MI anyway. My buddies have been throwing out the idea of riding sometime in december, no definate plans yet.

Not really sure, just make sure that they are both equal. adjust them until the bike idles nicely. check your jetting too, running too lean is gonna give you problems. Im sure you dont wanna deal with problems on a new bike.
