  1. It sounds like one of your carbs is not shuting down all of the way and the tors is killing the motor. When you give it gas the non stuck carb opens and is like wot. You have dirt in one of the carb slides. An easy way to check is to remove seat and look at carbs with the motor off, give it gas and if one of the carbs moves alittle bit, that is the one that is stuck.
  2. I take the shee to the dunes or trails and wait for some poor fool with a fourchoke to ride up and say that their bike is faster, the shee and I laugh so hard and loud that it starts up all by itself.
  3. I went to Yahoo and typed in Duramax Performance and found lots of sites which have parts for all of the diesels (Ford, Dodge, and GM), or you could type in powerstroke performance and it would probably work just as well.
  4. I have a 2002 GMC with the Duramax 6.6 L diesel with a 4 inch Banks exhaust and a Quadzilla chip with an extra 165 hp and 385 ft/lb of torque. The truck is very fast. I hear with any more power than that you will just break parts in the long run. Their chips go up to an extra 215 hp.
  5. I saw a guy hauling a Sea Doo jet ski and trailer behind his Harley. Had them painted with the same paint scheme. He backed it down the boat ramp too.
  6. I live in North Ridgeville which is somewhat close. I also ride in most of the areas that Nightrider does. The steel mills at Lorain will do in a fix also.
  7. Sometimes ride by the steel mills in Lorain. Usually ride in PA at Marienville or Rocky Gap. Sometimes in Wayne national forest in southern Oh. Rode at Wellsville once. The sand dunes at silver lake mi.
  8. I am from the far West side of Cleveland. Where do you normally ride?
  9. I have a 99 Shee with stock reed valves and was wondering how long reed valves usually last before they need changing. If I change them, should I put in some V Force.
  10. There is no replacement for displacement!!!
  11. I drove to Michigan with the intention of riding at Silver Lake. Went to my brothers farm near there and the weather was so nasty that the shee sat in the back of the truck all weekend long. I did ride his warrrior around the farm but was too disapointed with the weather to pull the shee out. What a waste. I can't wait till next year.
  12. The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington Chemistry mid term. The answer was so "profound" that the professor shared it with colleagues, which is why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well. BONUS QUESTION: IS HELL EXOTHERMIC (GIVES OFF HEAT) OR ENDOTHERMIC (ABSORBS HEAT)? Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's law (gas cools off when it expands and heats up when it is compressed), or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following: _______________________ First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate that souls are moving into Hell and the rate they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul goes to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand as souls are added. This gives two possibilities: 1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose. 2. Of course, if Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over. So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Ms. Teresa Banyan during my Freshman year, "...that it will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you", and take into account the fact that I still have not succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then #2 cannot be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic, and will not freeze. _______________________ The student received the only 'A' given
  13. I put a Noss head (20 cc domes) on a couple of months ago and it is great. Just came back from Silver Lake and the shee screamed. Had to put some window screen into the mufflers though, that sand burns way too fast.
  14. I am meeting my brother, nephew, and a friend up there around then, not sure which day we will go there. Will have two banshee, one warrior and one wr250. You will love Silver Lake.
