  1. DAMN!!!! that is sweet. is that plastic melting and dripping off of the orange bike? what about the banshee. is the brake light melted? cant tell if it is or just the way it looks with water on it.
  2. 20cc domes. how much? If the one side has dings and marks from pieces of the piston, what does the other side look like?
  3. Went back and read the post. 280 sounds way too lean. I have (had) 300's in mine, come to find out they were too lean, now i need a rebuild. JET WAY UP!!! check your compression, depending on how long you have been running lean, you may have caused some damage.
  4. From what I've heard, +4 is about right for all-around performance. I believe more towards +7 is for drag racing. I'm no expert, someone else probably will fill you in.
  5. Come to find out there is only 80 psi in the right cylinder and about 140 in the left. (explains all the pitting in the stock head when i removed it.) Jetting is lean too. Looks like I got some work to do. Silver Lake this weekend? probably not
  6. Right on, the banshees dont like to putt around, they need air passing through. Try in-line coolers???? My bike never over heated before, but i put two in-line coolers on it. Don't know if they work as good as they claim, but they are on.

  8. Ran the 110 in it yesterday, same thing. Gonna get some bigger mains, up to 320's i guess. might not have a chance to test it out before I head to "Silverfest or Sandfest" whatever we are gonna call it. later.

  10. I hope the higher octane is the problem. I will fill the tank with 110, and ride it. If that does not solve the problem, then i will change the jetting. Thanks again, mike

  13. Pinging? um no, dont think so. Not clutch slipping. My first thought was jetting, because it is running great all the way until full throttle, in high gears (5 and 6 for sure) I remember seeing a graph, showing what adjustments to make, depending on when the bike is acting up. If I am gonna change the jetting, what should I adjust? main jet? needle? ???? Anyone think it could be the gas? I just dont wanna do all this work, if the problem would be resolved with higher octane fuel.

  21. Hey guys, got a chance to ride the banshee this weekend, first time since the NOSS head went on. The bike runs great, except for near Wide Open Throttle. At full throttle, it feels like it is missing or something. It will be winding out then at the very top, it feels like it is missing and it runs shitty. Feels like it doesnt rev out like before. NOSS head, 20cc domes. Possibly due to the fuel i was running? I usually run with 110 octane, leaded race fuel. however this was not available to me this weekend and I was running premium pump gas. could that lead to my problem? jetting? just looking for some ideas/suggestions. maybe someone has dealt with this before? thanks guys.
  22. All the campgrounds are relatively close. I have stayed at the state park, Hideaway, Silver City. Years ago i stayed at one called silver sands (?) anyway that one sucked, no late fires, quiet time all the time.

    I noticed the other day that I am missing one too. Who was it that posted a mod on here about making your own "nubs". anybody else remember that?
  25. I dont think that you guys read the whole post. The banshee had a boost bootle. Take that bottle off and the 450 would SMOKE the stock shee.
