  1. Can anyone recomend a different needle, still too rich. Thanks.
  2. I,ve always ran 50:1 with no issues. I put in a 152 main and will do a plug chop, I,m thinking maybe I was to rich on the main and the needle was ok? I had very little exhaust smoke with my stock carbs, and now it's smoking alot. So you think I could end up at a 148 main? Thanks for your help.
  3. I just switched from a stock stroke dune port motor with stock carbs to a hjr 4mill with 35pwk a/s. Kevin recommended 158 main, 50 pilot, cel needle on middle clip. The main was close I'm at a 155 now, but the pilot and needle seemed rich, I,m down to a 42 pilot and the needle lowered to the last clip which helped alot but I think I may need a different needle, because still to rich, Which needle would be slightly leaner than the cel? HJR 4 mill shearer pipes 35 pwk a/s chariot intake kn pods 50:1 1000'elevation
  4. Thanks for the info.
  5. I'm wanting to plan a trip to the Oregon dunes this summer, but have never been. If you were going for the first time where would you camp? Do you camp right at the dunes? Are there campgrounds close by where you can ride to the dunes? Also do they enforce the sound level rules, or can you just run your normal pipes? Do you have to get an out of state regisration sticker? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to cover everything before I head up there.
  6. I've used it for many years with no problems.
  7. It's not that the bolt is coming loose, It's that when you tighten the bolt all the way the shifter is still to loose. I had to use a hacksaw blade and remove some material from the gap where the bolt goes through. It hasn't come loose since.
  8. I had the same problem once and turned out to be bad crank seal.
  9. Has anyone had a problem with the rubber on the ball joints cracking? I'm on my second set, they only last maybe 3 trips to Glamis and they're junk. Alba has replaced them for free but it's a pain in the ass replacing them. They said they had a bad batch, but my sons did the same thing and I just got my 3rd set.
  10. I would just order a 120 link from rocky mtn, and then you can take out the links you don't need. Depending on your sprocket sizes, the number of links will vary.
  11. I've had that noise for years, before and after rebuilds and have seen several posts on this subject. I can't figure out what the noise is, I just don't worry about it anymore.
  12. They have the wheels that just replace the flat part, or at least thats how mine was. I got mine at a trailer supply store.
