  1. http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/contactus.asp Call Jeff and tell him exactly what you're going to be using the bike for and the power you're looking to make. I'm sure he'll beable to hook you up right.
  2. That's a pretty cool product. Would take alittle getting used to.
  3. From what I gathered, he has std. travel a arms so the shock mounting position is stock on the lower a arm. The yfz shocks are longer then std. travel shocks. So when fully extended the shocks allow the a arms to hang down too low putting his tie rods at an unuseable angle.. Atleast that's what i think he means in so many words, which is the only thing that makes sense to me.
  4. The jumping forward when you drop it into gear is normal but can be worsend by worn out (grooved) clutch components. As far as the screeching goes I don't have a clue. I would go threw and replace the basket, hub, pressure plate, the clutch if need be, and buy the easy spring shift shaft mod from Jeff. That should eleminate any clutch problems granted everything is assembled properly and the right oil is used.
  5. Yeah, +2 banshee arms aren't going to have the proper shock mounting position to use that length of shock. The dual rate works valved for your application will be far better then the yfz shocks.
  6. haha, this thread is great. What the hell are you trying to do OJ? You try to make yourself feel all self righteous by all this "I raise the white flag, I was a dumbass, I'm a Christian, lets get along" bullshit then at the end of the post you have some smartass shit to say about him? Are you retarted? :: I see you calling people out for not taking action and driving way the fuck out of their way to "put up". I don't see you doing anything other then talking yourself up in this post. "atleast I put up" Put up what? An internet threat? Go fuck yourself.
  7. It's purely preference. Most people will tell you not to because of how far you turn the bars and lean on an atv where as on a bike you're leaning and staying for the most part in line with everything. The banshee can get away from you if you turn and lean to far to the opposite side and goose the throttle, I've never personally used a twist on any 4 wheeler before so I can't tell you my personally opinion on it. I was thinking about trying it though because of how stiff my thumb throttle pull is.
  8. Ah okay. Well, I can't wait for them to come out! I'm stuck with my stock wheels and 20" holeshots right now. Sold off my other sets including my ITP locks to pay for my susp.
  9. BTW have you deleted some messages from your inbox? I tried sending you a message the other day and it rejected it. Just wanted to inform you the M/O is on its way.
  10. Yeah, it wouldn't make sense for yamaha to make a 500 cc quad anyway. They alreayd have a yfz 450 and a raptor 700. I think it would be smarter for them to bring back a beginers bike like the Blaster (one of their all time best sellers) with a something like a YZ250F or wr250 motor. That would be a fun bike.
  11. Those look sick, I always wondered why they didn't use that design to begin with. Hopefully they will be a great deal cheaper. I'm sure if they made them cheap enough to be closer in price to the aluminum beadlocks they would probably make up their profits in volume, more people would be willing to go the little extra for the lighter stronger wheel. I plan on getting a set when they come out.
  12. Yeah shipping tires and frames and just large shit in general is a pain and expensive. They were going to charge me 40 bucks to ship some front tires priority so I downgraded it to parcel post and got the price down to 18. I had to do so because otherwise I would have just been loosing my ass on the sale. Live and learn I guess.
  13. I have the Prefered Customer deal. I run Amsoil in my truck and all my bikes. Good stuff.
  14. I've heard of people making their own out of Delron and even skateboard wheels for longjevity.
  15. Usually the a arms are a bitch to get off the first time. Same with the axles. Expecially if it's very old.
  16. Locogato sells round house swingers for a great price, you can get the carrier from Jeff at F.A.S.T.
  17. Understandable, I just had to strip the paint off my other rad. shround I bought and it's a pain. I'm not sure I understand your question, you need the tank shroud but you only want the price on the rad shroud? 25 for both.
  18. Yes, you will. You will most likely have to run race fuel also depending on how much material was taken from that "stage 3" port.
  19. Do alittle research, there's topics all over the place pertaining to the yfz front end swap. With alittle work the entire front end is transferable and it will put you around +2+1 if I remember right.
  20. You can tell by my last post I'm fluent in spanish, must be from living in Texas. I remember hearing about the R-1 shock swap, I'd give that a try.
  21. Shoulda' bought a deawoo.
  22. I have a rad and tank shroud that were painted blue but are yellow underneath.
  23. A 230 main Dustin? I believe that's the stock jet size, what's your elevation in Ks? I had an LRD on mine originally and at sea level w/o an air box lid, I was running a 270 main with the LRD needle on the 3'rd clip. I don't know much about the graydon pipes myself, you don't tend to see many of them. What kind of power delivery are you looking for? There's a good post on several diffrent types of exausts and what they're good for, I'd skim threw that.
  24. taco. For a temporary half assed maybe fix try adjusting your preload as far out as possible, should lower the height a noticable amount when seated.
  25. From the testimonials I've read in MulletMan's thread it should do just fine. Not be best set up obviously but it will no doubt be a large step above stock expecially for that price.
