  1. yes how much with shipping
  2. im looking for a clutch lever and pro pegs for my boss email me at [email protected]
  3. DDQ put them to the test and they seemed to have held up fine. I'm only about 2500 in on my banshee (including purchase price) and I have no problems keeping up/roosting the 4 stroke peeps out on the track who paid thousands more then I have. By the time I'm done I'll probably have spent considerably less then a new 450 costs and it should be well on par with any mx 450. It's all in finding good deals and not paying out the ass for new shit.
  4. Looks alright, I just can't get over the fact that it doesn't look like it belongs on the frame. As others have said it's the best looking example I've seen but it's still not doin' it for me either. What is done to it as far as handling/performance? I've never really had to feather my clutch either, I think people have a stong steroeo type on the banshee as being problem childs, hard to ride, hard to keep running ect ect. It gets old but what can you do but roost them.
  5. You guys aren't using the dust caps on the swap? The spacers look great.
  6. Where do you normally go to trail ride? Local spots or what? The main places I go would be Highlands mx off hwy 90 down FM 2100 (more of a dirtbike oriented palce though) and three palms extreme off 45 in conroe. Most of the other places are kinda far to just go out and ride for the day. I don't know of any trail spots really, I no longer have a "possy" or "crew" whatever you want to call it to ride with. Everyone sold their shit a while back.
  7. I'm from Huffman Tx. I live off of Lake Houston. I dunno if you know where that is. Near Atascocita, Humble, Crosby area. We oughta go riding sometime. You hit the track or are you more of a trail rider?
  8. lt banshee shocks are only 16 something inches long I think. the 19 inchers are LT yfz shocks.
  9. I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm saying it's not an immediate problem for the way most people ride. Exactly, you've got to nail the landings when jumping big on a stock suspended shee. You know as well as I that doesn't always happen though and with stock suspension if you're going big something's going to give when you don't quite land right. That's all I was trying to say. You can jump as big as you want with the stock susp. but it's not wise, expecially with inverted rims. For casual riding, recreational trails, dunes, small jumps ect there should be no increased problems aside from trail feedback.
  10. Looks like you have some high quality materials there, sounds like an AWESOME price for what you get. Get some pics of some swingers completed and your site membership ect and I'll bet you start getting hits. I'd focus on getting some banshee ones completed, chances are that and the 450 swingers will be the best selling.
  11. The only real way I see the balljoints being placed under enough stress to worry about is with too long of a shock which would put them in a bind once they reached their limit. Just adding 2-3 inches of leverage to their same range of travel isn't enough to cause a problem.
  12. It doesn't add near enough stress to worry about. You shouldn't be jumping anything big enough to effect the ball joints with stock suspension anyway, if you do you will probably bend a shock or something else first.
  13. But like Dawarrior already stated, the shocks that come with the kit are kind of generic and aren't custom tailored for you to get the full benifit. I can honestly say if you're riding track or trails the stability is needed but I think the more noticable improvement in traction and cornering comes from the negative length swing arms. Save alittle money from buying that kit and go with some ASR or fullflight a arms for around 300 or however much they are, get some nice dual/tripple rates, then get a -1.5-2.5 swinger and have the stock rear shock rebuilt. You won't believe the diffrence, it will put that front end to shame for close to the same price.
  14. The feedback issues aren't bad, a steering stabalizer will eleminate that all together anyway, it's not the ideal set up but I ran my blaster with offsets for years and had no problems what-so-ever.
  15. Saying they're not long travel isn't true, granted you don't gain wheel travel then shocks are longer and the shock position is changed for more "shock" travel and adjustability. Which most people won't utalize anyway. All I'm saying is if he wants the package and has money to blow then he will be happy with it. Leaps and bounds over the stock front end but for the price there are better options out there that will produce the same outcome as far as performance.
  16. It's an awesome suspension package. I can guarantee you that you will be happy with it, most of us are happy with just some +2's and dual/tripple rates. I know I'd be in love with some +3's and elka quad rates. (or does the banshee package come with tripples?) either way you can't go wrong if you've got the cash. I'm more of a bargan shopper anymore. I'd find some nice used a arms and then buy some shocks, you'll have enough left over for a roundhouse swinger, if you ride trails or track I HIGHLY reccomend a -2 swinger. AMAZING diffrence in corning and traction. You can get some good +3 a arms for 300-400 or so, pick up some tripple rates from whatever brand you prefer, then you should have enough left over for the roundhouse, you may spend as much or alittle over the lt front end but you get way more.
  17. I'm in love with this -2.5. granted I don't have a cub or something but I should have porting and possibly a stroker sometime this or next year.
  18. lol, the part you're cutting isn't even under much stress, Maybe I'm missing something but I'm not sure how you could even hack it up to not be useable unless you were a complete and literal retard. Which if that's the case you don't need to be riding a banshee. I haven't looked into this mod but from what I've gathered the only modifaction you have to do is cut alittle of the tubing away for the arms to slip into the banshee mounts. How is that difficult for a teenager or even someone with limited experience? Only problem I can see with it is someone not having the proper tools to make the modifaction, there's not much skill involved from my point of veiw.
  19. If you have a lot of stamina/strength you can rock the banshee no problem with some suspension, and a few low/mid range engine mods. I can ride the shee hard all day long but I'm also in very good shape, some people get wore out too soon on the shee. If you're wanting to buy something stock and just do a few things to it I'd get the LTR, the kfx450 looks promising but it's in it's first year of production and could have some problems, it's also not as MX ready stock as the LTR. I would stay away from the 400's, they're kinda underpowered as dajogejr already pointed out.
  20. They're Paul Turner pipes. I'd imagine they're Hi Rev's being that it's a dune bike, w/ spark arrestors.
  21. I didn't notice mine wanting to nose dive when it had stock susp. front and rear. It was just really rough and yes, tippy. Bottomed out like nobodies business.
  22. I'm waiting for someone to get some aftermarket YFZ arms maybe +1 or +2 and put them on with some 4:1 offset wheels. Seems like that would be a nice set up if you couldn't find some used +3 banshee arms.
  23. I've been riding since I was 3 and have been lucky enough to only get scrapes and bruises.
  24. I don't have a clue on the worth of cars ect but I wouldn't pay more then 1500 for a banshee in that condition. You could fix it up for a few hundred I'm sure if you already have all the tools and shit to repair it but I don't think it's worth that trade unless the car is also a peice.
  25. Nice pics. Looks like you need to invest ins some a arms and an axle. The powerslide probably would have come out diffrently. At best you'd 180 it.
