You have to fill it with propane for it to work, noobs.

Elka should also be near the top of that list. How much are you looking to spend? Do you want +2 or +3's?

I got my F.A.S.T. clutch in and DAMN what a diffrence over that slipping stock one. I only have pipes and advanced timing but so much power was lost in translation with the stocker it's not even funny. :shoothead: And of course Jeff took time to give some tips on assembly ect. You'll be hearing from me again Jeff!

3D CAD Models of Banshee Frame
Trick2stroke replied to FireHead's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I just started AutoCAD, tech. drafting, and machining classes. I'm enjoying it but we're still in 2D and it's still not very involved or fun. I can't wait to start doing shit with 3D. I haven't tried anything other then AutoCAD 2007. -
I was considering the twist. Pulling both of those slides up on an MX track gets pretty damn hard after a few laps. I find myself unable to even give it throttle at a certain point and have to use my palm which is bad. lol Maybe it's my cables that need lubing or the tors or something I have no idea, but I have to do something about it. Maybe some lighter springs in the carb/throttle assembly. I can ride a kfx or raptor or 450 all day on the track and not feel a damn thing as far as thumb fatigue but literally 1-2 laps on my shee and fuck me it's work to push the throttle at all! ::

I agree, that color scheme is sick. (pic with the axle in.)

I have a complete MX Blaster to sell or part out and a couple stock Banshee parts. Located in SouthEast Texas, Houston area. Two Stock Banshee Axles - Both perfectly strait, splines are also perfect. Stock Banshee rear caliper, MC, and ressivoir. good working order. 20/11/9 Razr's on .190 Douglas rims 90-95% tread left, rims have no dents or bends. Bolt pattern for the blaster, can include hubs so they're usable on any yamaha sport quad. +3 Custom 4130 Chromoly LongTravel Roundhouse swing arm for the Blaster, silvervein PC still in great shape, good bearrings. comes with billet carrier w/ fresh bearrings/seals (banshee/worrior/raptor/03+blaster calipers will bolt up for hydrolic rear brakes on pre 03 models) Comes with or without (your choice) a customized 250R rear shock valved for this swinger and a 145 lbs rider but even me being 180 it was still incredibly plush (12" of travel). Also comes with a like new RK 520 Xring chain. BRAND NEW CPI big bore pipe and silencer, show chrome, put on for literally one ride before I decided I wanted to sell.:ermm BRAND NEW 35mm Kehein PWK Air Striker w/ BRAND NEW prodesign cable and BAND NEW billet reed spacer. For the Blaster. DG nerfs usable nets but it could use some new ones. For the Blaster. That's all I can think of right now, if you need something in particular ask me about it, I may have it and am overlooking it. I can get high quality pics of anything you're interested in. Swinger, Shock, Banshee Caliper, Razr's. Carb and Reed Spacer. Low quality pic of DG nerfs. Again, I can get hq pictures of anything that's not pictured here that I listed by request. I'll take any reasonable offers, thank you for looking! Blake Ramsden.

Thank you. I'm proud of it, I've wanted a banshee for years. Yes, I plan on cutting them but lately we've been having alot of wet, nasty weather so I'm holding off till it gets to be nicer weather or I get a second set of fenders. I'm in the process of advancing the timing and modding the shift star while I change out the clutch (bought the F.A.S.T. clutch everyone was raving about. Mine was slipping like a motherfucker, Jeff's a great guy to deal with on the phone like everyone said. Very helpfull and considerate.). Should be done by sat. I plan to take her to the track if the weather permits. I'll try to get some video or atleast some pics.

Here's mine in the beginning stages. I have an LSR+4 for it but it's not on in the pics (waiting for some axle bearrings to come in.)

From everything I've read those style dampners aren't too good in comparison to the Scott dampner. Granted it's a few hundred more but if you're gonna do something, do it right the first time. There's basically no maintinence or replacing parts involved in the Scott damper.

Well everything checked out so I brought her home. Lovin' it! I've already added one kill to the list, first rip around the hood I ran across a kid on a predator so we lined up, had about 10-15 drag's. I won every one of them. It was a good race, I was spinning off the start pretty bad and it's running really rich. The gas that's in it is at like 10:1. :yelrotflmao: I'm gonna throw a 14 tooth on there and put my amsoil 50:1 in there and see what that does for it. -

Awesome, that's what I wanted to hear! I'm tired of searching for one but I will definately mull it over to be sure of the condition, I also plan to test drive it or atleast fire it up for a few minutes before I close the deal. As for checking the frame for cracks, is there any weak points on the frame that I should focus on that are prone to cracking/stressing? Thanks, appreciate the help. -
I've been skimming threw the classifieds for months now looking for an affordable banshee between 1 and 2 k and recently came across this clean 96. "The top end has approx 5 hours on it. The bike also has FMF fatty expansion chambers, Powercore 2 silencers, and a boost bottle. This quad runs great! I took it out last weekend and had no problems. Comes with owners manual, repair manual, and certificate of origin." The owner said the lowest he can go is 1800, which ain't bad but I wanted some second opinions as to wether or not you think this is a good buy? I'm getting tired of not having a ride but I don't have a whole hell of alot to spend right now with college costs. Thanks for takin' the time.

What other mods do you need on a bike like that? lol
