  1. It was my understanding that +2 a arms were indeed just that, +2" per side. Sounds like your lowers may be too short
  2. You'll love the pt mids, you'll beable to gear up alittle with them also. Around a 16/40 might be good, expecially considering your other motor mods. If you can find a good deal on a YFZ front end or one of the variations on it (the trx shocks ect) that will work great. Sounds like after you get your suspension buttoned up you'll have one hell of an mx bike, you definately have the 450's out powered.
  3. My question is are they actually going to step up and start actually teaching these kids something during all of those 8 hours. Makes you wonder what they're doing for those 6 hours already with how stupid most kids are today. I don't know if you can compare work to school, depending on the type of work it's apples to oranges. I know I would have much rather worked then been in highschool because that's just the way I was. But yeah to complain about learning for 8 hours compared to working your ass off for 12-20 hours in the heat or cold is bullshit, a lot of kids have it way to easy. (not implying that to anyone in this thread however)
  4. Nothing's going to make you competetive with the 450's if you don't have the skill to back it up. Not saying you don't by any means but the majority of wether or not you'll keep up hinges on if you have the skill to do so. I'd say yes you're on the right track. I agree with everything you're wanting to do aside from the front end. Sure it's a ok upgrade over stock but (this is just my opinion) I think you're far better off with some a arms built for the banshee and some properly valved works. You can find used aftermarket banshee front ends for just as much or cheaper then a YFZ front end, but either is going to get the job done. That's the cheap way to do it. if you have a lot, a LOT of money to throw around the 250R geometry chassis is the way to go. Not to forget your motor. You said you have enough motor, but how is the power delivery? You want a broad smooth powerband for mx so you can put all the power that 350 twin is putting out to the ground. What exaust/intake/porting combo do you have? Other things will also aid greatly in your performance on the track like a Scotts steering stabalizer, the FASST Flex bars, and the right tires.
  5. what the hell? I'm having trouble understanding what you're trying to say. Sounds like Cascade is the way to go. My stockers are pretty weathered, I'll probably be investing in some.
  6. lol I almost did that once, I got the bearing maybe 1/4'th of the way in and saw the spacer laying there. :yelrotflmao: Glad I caught it so soon.
  7. The girls have all of their std's listed in a profile. :yelrotflmao:
  8. They all have to mount diffrently to diffrent bikes, the banshee bumper bay be at a diffrent angle when mounted so as to clear the plastics or w/e the case may be. I'm not talking about the overall style being way diffrent.
  9. I knew one of them was messed up but I didn't know quite how bad and which set it belonged to. They came with the cool head I bought off him, it was just the one 20cc dome that is fucked up. The 22's are fine but what's the point ya know. I was just checking if there was any reasonable way to salvage it. Thanks for the link FireHead, I may look into that when I really get deeper into the motor with porting ect.. I don't have nearly enough money or suspension right now for worrying with the motor much, yet.
  10. Bump. Swinger is pending payment. Everything else is still open.
  11. Hmm, wow the ceramic coating filled in all the pits and it didn't effect your dome size? Sounds pretty appealing, where did you have it done and how much was it?
  12. Good post, but how does increased compression from the smaller domes effect jetting? Or will it at all?
  13. Yeah, that was my concern. It's alittle of both really, more pitting then anything though. I guess I'll have to pony up for some new ones.
  14. Even if it did fit I'm wondering if it would even look right since it would be designed for another quad? It might not "flow" well with the banshee's body style being that it's so much diffrent.
  15. I just got my PD cool head in from a fellow BHQ member and the size domes I had planned to use, one of them is in ruff shape and I'm wondering if it's useable and how it would effect performance/functionality if I did in fact use it. Here's a pic. I would use the others but I bought the head so I could run higher compression. So I'd rather run the 20's over the 22's. Appreciate any help.
  16. Sorry to stray off into another subject in your thread, but how does the gas gas compare to the cdales and production 450's power and handling wise? What do you like/dislike over the others?

  18. I can't say for sure but it's highly unlikely.
  19. Pegs are sold. Thanks.
  20. Don't spend too much on them if you go that route. If you can find some truely that are cheap they would be worth it (100 dollar range and under). Anything over 200-300 just isn't worth it at all. You can get some basic dual rate works valved for your application that'll outperform the yfz shocks 10 to 1 for maybe 1-2 hundred more and it won't effect your ride hieght (which no matter what someone may say will effect the center of gravity making it slightly more unstable in the corners, granted it's not much but it is noticable and every little bit counts).
  21. We need some of the members who have this set up to step it up and take some upclose, detailed pics from diffrent angles. I'd like to see how it looks set up on the bike.
  22. Come up with another 25 and you've got a deal!
  23. I seriously dislike wearing boots, I'll probably get some when I start seriously racing (if I can ever afford it) but I've never had any problems on bikes or quads.
