I thought they were shorter and people did this for Flat track, drag, ect.

It's prefernce which I'm sure you see now from the varied responses you get. Some people like to sit their ass on the bike and just gas it everywhere they go and they don't want to fight the front end. Me personally I like having the traction and handling of a shorter swing arm and am willing to actually "ride" the bike and hold the front end down. Just takes alittle more work.

Great guy, great seller. Would do business with him anytime without hesitation.

you're 14 and have mud sharks or some shit on your banshee and what looked like stock a arms. You don't need these high end shocks I can assure you it will be a waist of yours or your parents money. Unless you've worked full time since you were 6, which would explain the second grade spelling.

Leager Round House + Works Dual Rates W/ Res.
Trick2stroke replied to Trick2stroke's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
It probably would be around 40 ( don't quote me on that), but that's my point. It will probably be about twice as much as it would be to ship most anywhere else in the US. I have no problem with shipping to canada if you want to pay the extra shipping charges. -

I'm replacing the bushings yes, Paypal, no I don't have it, you'd have to send a money order. I'd prefer not to ship out of country, but if you want to pay the high shipping and fee's that usually go along with it maybe we can work something out. PM me and I'll try to get some shipping quotes for you if you're still interested. Thanks. -
Matte Black Leager Round house. Selling because I was told it was a -1 at purchase but it turns out it's stock length. I'm selling the swinger alone for 350. Also selling these Dual Rate works W/ Res. Springs are alittle chewed up, alittle rust, valved for MX, +2 a arms, and 220 lbs rider. Aside from the cosmetics they're in good shape. 185 shipped. Thanks, Blake.

These are in perfect condition, but I'm at sea level and with these domes I would have to run race/pump mix atleast to be safe and I just don't feel like doing that at this time. If anyone's interested shoot me some pics. Thanks, Blake.

If I'm not mistaken the rear shee shocks go for 100 or a little more on average. If you really want to sell for 50 tell him you dunno if it fits or not but he can buy it if he wants to give it a shot.

Check your compression.

LOL yeah I drill condensation holes in all of my left hand pipes. :yelrotflmao: That guy is a jack ass, I'd check over the bike well. If someone that stupid owned it there's no telling what he did/didn't do to maintain the bike. Not to freak you out thinking there's going to be problems, but just as a precaution I'd be vigilent.

lol you serious, I thought europe aired all kinds of riskay shit, and had bitches stripping on the news and weather. Maybe that's somewhere else. hah

haha, this thread is great. I agree about this generation of kids growing up being a bunch of sheltered, pussy, punk asses. I'm still young myself but I was brought up old fashioned the same way most of you were, I watched the older cartoons with the "violence" and I never tried to imitate it, when I did something stupid I got my ass whooped and got grounded, I climed tree's, rode/jumped bikes without a helmet, climbed 20-40 feet up in tree's and made huge ass rope swings off into the lake and tried to see how many flips we could do before hitting the watter, tied ropes to our 4 wheelers and sat on random shit and skii'ed around the yard or where ever. I feel sorry for kids these days even, it's mainly their parents fault, but this modern society contributes greatly to it also. I feel lucky as hell to have been brought up the way I was and got to do all the "dangerous" shit I did, even though sometimes it was painfull lol. You can bet your ass when I have kids they are gonna be brought up the same damn way I was. I know that wasn't on topic, but while the boobs are nice. I could really care less, that's not why I'm here really lol. There's easier ways to see breasts, they are a nice addition though, won't see me complaining. I'd probably be yelling "hey son come look at these jugs! Those are some bign's eh?"

The blacklines look amazing. I think the diffrence in the New AC blacklines is they have a stainless steel peg area that can be replaced. Once you wear down the aluminum teeth on the older style propegs they're worn out and you either have to replace them or cut out the old alum peg and make some new ones to be welded in. ( or make some steel bolt on's like the new ones)
-
I got mine new for 220, I like them over my old roll design pegs, not to downplay how bad ass those were though.

all of them. When you buy it make sure it's for the banshee, that all make shocks for the banshee. Be sure you're getting it valved for your weight, a arm length, riding style, ect. If you plan to buy a arms down the road, hold off on the shocks and get them both at once, the a arm length will effect the shock's internal valving.
-
I did the same leaving my pt mids on. It was somewhat of a hassle working around the pipes but it's not impossible.
-
What elevation are you at? That seems like low compression for 19cc domes. at 145 lbs and 96 octane you should be fine advancing your timing around 4 deg. atleast. I'm no expert though.

That's correct, Cannondale had a shitload of bugs to work out but they went bank rupt or something, I don't remember all the details. But yeah ATK bought them and fixed all of their problems and put out "kits" or services to fix the older dale's problems. If anyone wants or is looking to buy one be sure it has the upgrades, is an actual ATK, or plan on doing the upgrades. I talked to a girl who raced a dale in the texas motocross series and her shit was ALWAYS broke down. But I'd own one in a heart beat.

Replace the stock gearing with 15/40. It will make a big diffrence and you'll walk off on him up top pretty easy. With pipes alone, 15/40 gearing, and 20" tires I walk all over yfz's and preds. I've never raced a raptor though, can't imagine they're faster then the yfz though. :ermm: Forgot to ask, are you still running the stock clutch? If so I'd reccomend getting a new clutch with some heavier springs, it could be slipping alittle and you not realize it. It's 95 bucks well spent on the F.A.S.T. clutch, felt like a new animal replacing the slipping stocker, like I had added a set pipes to a stocker. lol

Axle sounds good, I say get an RPM or FireStick axle though. I would spend my money alittle wiser for the rest. Rather then buying an elka dual rate shock, send your stock one off to TCS and have them revalve and rebuild it into a dual rate shock, it will be half the price and the same quality. Spend that extra money you saved on a -1 or -2 round house swing arm, I'd get some propeg nerf bars also. If you have the money a Scotts steering stabilizer or some FAST Flexx bars would be a very good addition also, I'd buy one of those two over a anti vibe stem anyday. Sell your FMF pipe/silencer and get you a PaulTurner Midrange pipe, FMF knarly, some kind of low end/mid range mx oriented pipe. Advance your timing +4*, have your head milled or get a cool head for added comppression. All of which are going to increase your power threwout the RPM range expecially down low where you need it to get traction out of the corners. Aside from that, it's up to you to utilize the bike.

I didn't have any problem keeping up with c class riders on 400's-450's and my banshee was stock aside from fmf's and my tires/rims. (the track was muddy so that just compounded my traction/cornering problems at the time) I can't imagine the diffrence it will make when I get my swinger, a arms, and shocks on. I'm sure it will be a much more pleasent experience also. I'll be honest with you, from the looks of your bike and the mods you just listed. You're definately lacking some much needed mods to keep competitive with good riders on modded 450's. What's your engine/exaust/intake combo? You have to broaden the powerband to smooth out the power and get a -1 to -2 swinger to help get the power to the ground on the track. Aside from that the rest is up to you, if you're bike is wide enough to corner fast, has enough suspension to soak up the bumps, jumps, whoops, and can get traction. The rest is up to you. That's just my veiw on it, I'm not saying one's better then the other because that's preference. I'm just defending that fact that you CAN be competitive on a banshee if you know how to ride a 2 stroke and have it set up properly.
