  1. Just imagine if all the stupidity out there was replaced with common sense Reading those articles just proves stupidity!

  4. I just unhooked the e-brake wire from the harness...if I recall right Just trace it back to where it hooks into the main harness and there is a connector....unplug it That was it and it runs fine.
  5. I think a lot of karts with that type of engine use a centrifigul type clutch which drives a chain or belt-drive connected to the axle.

  7. If the maintenance was kept up on it you should be set. I would go through and check all the fluids (brake, tranny, coolant), air filter, grease it, lube the chain, air pressure and whatever else you can think of. Other than that, have fun with it!
  8. um, yeah, I forgot my registration says its a 6 cylinder Insurance is not cheap for a Camaro and I have never gotten a ticket! thanks tithead
  9. I have the manual on CD too. Only problem is I can't haul my PC out to the garage
  10. Hey man, I'm a Camaro guy and have had mine since I was 15. I don't regret my decision in buying and fixing it up ALL the time but from my experience you may want to consider a cheap daily driver before getting a "project car. (if this is what you want to do with it?). When I was yer age I worked my ass off just to buy gas for the thing and that was it...had no Banshee at that time! But hey, if its a car you like and want to put some time and money into it...go for it. I'll give you a little heads up......When I bought mine, it was a V-6 automatic. Well, that didn't last long at all, I convinced my parents of a cheap 350 and a 4 speed (my dad was very cool about it ) To make a long story short, the 350 got a rebuild and a few bucks dumped into it which wasn't enough for me It now has a big block with a few more bucks than the small block...but who's counting! It is my project car and don't want to look back and see how much I put into it but I love it!
  11. what year? what car/truck? 2 barrel? 4 Barrel? fuel injected?
  12. Not much! I'm guessin maybe between 150-175hp???? What motor do you plan on puttin in yer Monte?
  13. I read about the Dial-A-Jet a while ago and when I get the money I'm gonna get 'em
  14. If someone else had my money I wouldn't want to wait 3 weeks to hear from the guy on a deal! Hey 2004LEBanshee, sure hope this doesn't go sour!
  15. Last year for my thermal-fluids lab we had to dyno a 5hp briggs&stratton and we measured exhaust temp. We consistently saw temps range from 1100-1300F. The exhaust probe was mounted just past the cylinder head in the centerline of flow. But, as you travel towards the outside diameter of the pipe the temp will drop as well as the temp dropping the farther down the pipe. We never measured it, but I have heard temps around 700F at the perimeter of the header pipe.
  16. My old roommate and I used to always play online, still do once in a while....that game is fun as hell!! I haven't had much time to play this year cuz of school
  17. Yeah, I know where you're comin from....I had to change my pants
  18. Congrats on yer new purchase! When I bouhgt my shee it was all stock....first thing I did was replace the rear tires. Made a big difference! How much money are you willing to cough up? The mods for the Banshee are endless K&N is a good idea, shave your head, lighten the flywheel......... Eventually you gotta throw on some pipes that suit your riding style! Have fun.
  19. Thanks for the reminder. That show is funny as hell....people on there destroy themselsves!
  20. To be perfectly honest, this site is great the way it is! I like the people on here and like hearing what they have to say. Why would you make it a pay site just to weed people out or to just show their dedication?? Donations are cool but you can also buy the shirts and stickers to help support this site. I'm 24 and not a cheap-ass and I would not suscribe.
