Do Vienna Sausages taste like SPAM or catfood? Had neither one...but if they do I might have to try 'em out Another question??? My boss informed when I'm to college and eatin all the good stuff: beer, Ramen Noodles, beer, grilled cheese, beer, hot dogs.......(all the essentials), to never mix SPAM in with mac & cheese. He then enlightened me, "bad combo, shit'll tear ya up!" any thoughts?

Shouldn't he be wearing a helmet? ...crazy

that is dedication!! If things work out in my favor, i.e. time and money, I would love to go on a trip with you guys!

Really? sounds like a good idea. What kind of silicone? spray?

I strongly agree! These impacts are great, their composite casing makes 'em light yet they are very durable and can crank out plenty of torque. Also many impacts allow you to adjust the torque setting depending on what job you're working on.

Happy B-day, gotcha covered! Hopefully I don't up like:

I noticed this also with my camaro which has a 4 speed manual as well as other manual vehicles. Even if the tranny is in neutral the viscosity of the gear oil and tight clearances will cause the output shaft of the tranny to spin. Also, when in gear, as MotulMonsta explained the pressure plates do not completely disengage which will cause the output shaft to spin. What you describe seems normal and nothing to be concerned with unless you can feel it slipping with the clutch all the way out and under power.

If you ride a lot of trails a longer swing arm will increase your turing radius making tight turns pretty tough....not ideal for trail riding From the sounds of it, maybe you should get it together and ride to see how it feels...then go from there.

I'm an upstate Yankee I'd love to get together and go riding. I'm from Binghamton, NY but currently goin to school in Rochester. This is my last year in college and all I've been thinkin about is ridin, cruizin in my Camaro, and havin a few beers this summer !

By reducing unsprung weight your suspension will be more responsive (i.e. your wheels will react quicker to the terrain or stay glued to the terrain better)

Anyone Going Away For Spring Break?

My spring break is over, it was great....I got to work which means paying rent and bills Now I'm back to school, cheap beer and frozen pizza. -
Its good to know that celeberties are good for something besides gossip ....I love the internet!

If its possible...crawl in through their hatch or rear gate (if their car has one) and tie the doors together glue BBs from a pellet gun to the inside of their valve stem caps...it will take 'em a while to figure out why their tires always leak air

Hey banshee04le I dig yer avatar!! Keep my eyes on the shee in the rearview more than I do on road.

Keep in mind messing with their dogs and/or mailboxes involve heavy penalties.. I've always been a fan of a good prank or two.....Be creative

I understand your idea on premixin to compensate for changin temp but do you know for sure if they are directly related.......meaning switching from 32:1 to 40:1 will ideally suit the engine for a 30 degree temp change?? You can't be too sure. There are many factors that can influence jetting and its better to be safe than sorry. Check your plugs, do plug chops and keep up on the maintenance. 2-strokes a very senstive and you gotta want to tinker to keep it runnin good.

I just installed a set of PTRs not too long ago... Where the pipes attach to the cylinder exhaust ports there is a rubber o-ring that fits in a groove in the header flange. I'm not sure but you may be able to get the o-rings at a hardware store...just make sure they can handle high-temps. Where the pipes connect to the silencers I used the aluminum exhaust clamps that Duncan sells. They are just a high-temp rubber hose where the aluminum clamps slide over the rubber hose and seal the pipes together. You can find these at duncanracing.com or any other atv parts supplier...

I just had my pipes ceramic coated and that stuff looks pretty tough. There is a difference between ceramic coat and ceramic paint. Ceramic coat is the heavy duty sh!t that NASA developed. It comes out gritty like sandpaper with a silverish-whiteish color. Its also a little bit more expensive. Then there is ceramic paint, sometimes confused with ceramic coat. Its not quite as tough as ceramic coat but it looks nicer. You can also polish this stuff to make it almost look like chrome. I looked into high temp powder coat specifically for exhaust pipes and there are a few colors available.

I don't like the fact that they treat you like an ass that doesn't know anything then charge you and yer mother for some ridiculous amount. At least that's how the guys are at the shop I go to. Same can be said for car dealerships too. They got yer balls in a bind when you need a part A.S.A.P.

The powerband for 2-strokes is primarily a result of the exhaust design. The pipes are designed to use sonic waves that create a supercharging effect within a certain RPM range. Pretty cool stuff There are many sites with this info, here's some of the nitty gritty
