  2. I have been looking in cycle trader and online e-bay, can't find any decent ones....must be the season, nobody is selling theirs, and I don't want to wait til winter so it will probably be a new one....
  3. this is what you need: one clothes dryer one six-pack ice cold beer one staple gun throw cover in dryer, and drink one beer, when 1st beer is gone remove cover from dryer and wrestle it over your foam and pan and stretch the sides over near the bend in front and tack them on...wipe sweat from brow...now stretch front and rear of cover and use about fifty staples, now finish up on the sides....when all doneconsume remaining five beers while admiring how bitchin' your new seat cover looks on the banshee
  4. how much should i expect to pay OTD (out the door)?

  9. don't get me wronk, kimber and springfield make some beautiful guns, but I am looking more for like some Vietnam or WWII commemorative type engraved guns.
  10. valid point, I am not really looking at it for an investment, I just like 1911 colts, and would display them proudly, but you are right winchester would probably make a great investment, or some Tommy guns, ak-47, etc.
  11. wow that gunbroker site has a lot of stuff...
  12. thanks, I will look tonight and see what they have.
  13. no luck mostly holsters and magazines, or hard parts.....
  14. anyone know where I can find some collectible type commemorative colt 1911's? years ago I used to see them advertised in all sorts of magazines, you know $25 dollars amonth for ten years and you get a gold plated colt with WWII engraving on it or Vietnam memorial stuff whatever...I already tried franklin mint, and danbury mint websites w/no help....thanks
  15. I may be mistaken but I believe you can mount up a stock banshee rear shock....I know we were able to put the stock fronts on my buddys mom's warrior, and maybe the rear too? can't remember she has since traded it in on a new ltz400, but the Kawi one....(it's green)
  16. my buddy swears by them, he took them off of a 01' raptor, and put them on his banshee, but he also has +2 arms, he also used the rear shock , I did notice, that it sits up a bit higher than my bike with same size tires, so I would guess, they have more pre-load, stiffer springs atc. I gave him an older set of works w/out reservoirs, with a fresh charge, and he took them back off in favor of the stock raptor shocks....for what its worth
  17. wow, thanks man, like I said have not puled a plug yet, but it sounds to be rich on top, at 5000 feet, so probably be okay at sea level. it has 145 in it...so should be close, he bought the carbs off e-bay....so someones bike ran with these jets...you think 140-150? that narrow of a range? I was gonna pick up some jets like 165 range, and work down?
  18. okay they are keihn carbs(pwk I think), with clamp on air filters...has 145 mains right now....at 5000 feet but does not run right, falls on it's face top end, have not seen a plug yet so don't know as for the " builder" it is garage match port to my Uncles Trinity drag ported bike, but he runs a single 38mm carb....any ways i heard from a pal 165 mains is a good starting point? anyone think too big?
  19. wow, your tellin' me this is a new combination? nobody has 34mm carbs and CPI pipes on their bike?
  20. looking for a starting point, my brother just had his cylinders "drag" ported....added CPI pipes, 34 mm carbs, +4 timing .030" off the head... need a starting point for jetting....he is at 5000 feet, and we are going to Glamis (sea-level) this weekend.....any help is as always appreciated
  21. hey I had a hi-flite on my 04' banshee for a while, but too tall for me I put the stock foam back on...anyone want it?paid about $130 for it, I think.....willing to trade for equal value banshee stuff. thanks
  22. lookin to do a rebuild this summer, got about $800-$1000 to work with looking at cub cylinders, or a 4mil stroker crank. with porting on stock cylinders... also thinking about the "trinity" style 2:1 carb 35 or 38mm? currently stock motor with stock carbs t-5s K&N clamp ons milled head +7 timing plate...going after my brother he has stock stroke, huge drag porting, CPI pipes and 34mm carbs....milled head, and timing plate +4....
