that map is a map from google earth, just type it in your search then download it. then after you have downloaded just type sand dune recreation I think and that will show you all san dunes.
  2. I went for the head shave mod as well, much cheaper than a cool head and in my opinion just as good. just got my cylinders ported and head shaved to the max and went from 111 compression to 176 well worth the $50
  3. Hey I got a set of good working stock carbs, twin air filter still mounted in the air box would sell you all of it for $75 pm me
  4. Well I finally got the shee back together. took awhile for him to get it done (he was swaped) but I got a good deal, $400 for drag port, polish and head shaved. 180 and 181 on compression and straight race fuel. very pleased!! will get some pics up soon
  5. I will get some pics when its done. custom pipe is a great idea, maybe I will ride on my fmf's for this year and do customs this winter. reason being that I am going to go 4mill stoke after this season thanks
  6. crank was trued and welded already. pretty much doing the top end first then the stroker this winter. riding is 80% sand dunes hillclimbing or drag and around here in wyoming, drag and hill climb
  7. MPBANSHEE: I cant remember but I thought it was the transfer wall. wich ever one it is that gets really thin after very aggressive porting. please correct me if I am wrong
  8. like i said cant decide. first off the bike has fmf fattys now, carbs bored to 28mm with filter pods, bottem end is stock, top is 40 over, cyclinders being ported as I type wich I guees will be a something like a drag port. Told him to go all out on port work and yes they are being welded. the head is being milled down to around 180psi compression with straight race fuel. just cant decide on a set of pipes though and was wanting some opinions. leaning twords CPI in frames. Our in-frame pipe is HUGE! It is the best all around pipe on the market. Using our snowmobile FAT pipe technology, we built this pipe to have a big midrange hit and pull, with incredible top end! These pipes work extremely well with ported motors. The mufflers are custom built with a CNC Billet aluminum end cap so that it won't blow out or fall apart! NOTE: The 350 pipes will work on motors from 350's up to about a 430cc. For 440cc motors and above we do offer a big bore version of the inframe pipe.
  9. um do you have your little cross over tube between your 2 carbs inplace ? Im sure most of us have forgotten it from time to time, I know I have. When I forgot mine it had the same problems, I just happen to see it on the bench right before I started tearing stuff apart.

  11. we make at least once a year. not much other than the dunes that I have found, very morman towns.
  12. welcome to BHQ For a first trip I would opt for the best western in St Anthony, its right on the strip to the dunes. Its nice if you dont have a RV, the price is very reasonable, AC and a shower and a bed to sleep in. I would go for the haulers for strictly hill climbing and something like a sand star for every thing else. sand stars allow you to side hill where the haulers tend to slide the ass end out on you. Start the mornings with about 8-10lbs of air in your tires then less as it gets hotter in the day. the elevation at St A's is right at 5,000ft wich is a 190 jet I think, ask your local shop. There is Rexburg motor sports if you need anything, about 15 mins away. If you like to cut loose there is only 2 bars in St A's and there like a block from the best western. We like to go the monday right after memorial weekend, its alot less people and always seem to be a nasty ass storm the holiday weekend. we had nothing but hail/snow this year. MUST have a flag and registration, if your state doesnt have ORV stickers you can buy a ID sticker for under $20 If you have any other questions feel free to ask. We will be there again for 07' if you decide to go then we could get together for a first ride tour. here is a some St A dune videos http://www.dunereview.com/saintanthonyvideos.htm
  13. Hey Rich The red and yellow bike is not mine but thats what Im looking to build. You can get yellow brake lines from the address below. Hope that helps! http://www.bonacoinc.com/Quad_Brake_Lines.htm
  14. picking colors can really suck? I am taking mine to the paint shop Friday and havent picked a color yet but kinda know what I want. I have yellow plastics as well but decided to just do new after markets to make things easier. was wanting to do a lime green frame but cant find any pics of one. blue and silver look good though.
  15. well keep me posted I was wanting to go again this year to make up for this trip. we got caught in that hail storm in ID, we where about 80yards from the truck when it hit....nasty!!
