I got rid of my banshee a few years ago and came across a set of carbs intakes and air filters that I never got around to installing, they were used when I bought them, good condition, I paid $400, for the kit, and would like to get that back if possible. well anyone want to buy these carbs, I am tired of researching them, and will just buy some keihn 33 mm carbs I guess and be done with it, since everyone seems to know them better

as for mods..... basic bolt on stuff.... +8 timing (plate ) shaved head (.030") drag port T-5's wisecos 1 or 2 bores bigger than stock, I forget lightened flywheel stock reeds stock carbs w/ 300 mains should I just convert these carbs to alcohol?

on tm series carbs (flat slides) the dump tube is the piece that the main jet screws into. and mates to the needle. different diameter/taper replacements are available,

I have p-6 dump tubes, and looking for the right needle to match? anyone w/similar setup? the needle from the old dump tubes won't fit the p-6?

I had the mids, absolutely best pipes ever had, quality and fit, they were tough, pulled like a 4 stroke off the bottom and a little more on top than stock pipes great all around pipes, then I switched to Toomeys T-5 look beautiful, run great top-end wise, but I break mounts/tabs, and the silencers always leaking, lot more maintenance.....get the mids if you don't absolutely love them, someone will trade you something cool for them.

I agree w, the recommendations, but what height tires are you running? recommend 15t front w/20 inch paddles, and 14 t w/22 inch paddles agree 15-45 sounds close to stock gearing w/your mods I would guess 15-41/42, 14-39......

sounds like similar mods, which dump tube are you running? I see you have 370 mains?

I have barely finished my eighth beer-and I understood pefectly....keep on keepin on-2-1 sucks-dual 35 mm carbs are for woods/trail bikes and stock carbs are for highly ported/stroker/hill racers........ makes sense. burp\

5fp17 needle? anyone know if that will work with my p-6 dump tubes? I missed changing carbs at thanksgiving, but have some down time now, next trip not til January..... any help please?

I like my plus six arm, nothing like riding a wheelie and feeling like your ten feet above the ground.... I only ride sand and it works great for me, I would hate to ride in the dirt though.

A few questions first what elevation are you? compression good, how good? how 'bout some numbers extra timing/porting etc.? I would be willing to bet you are way too big on mains....I have similar setup as you, with big nasty port work, and am only running 300 mains right now...w/stock carbs what do the plugs tell you?

okay I ahve some 34mm flatslides I am trying to get to a starting point on the banshee, they came w/ mainjet 150 pilot 35 dumptube/needle jet R-O needle 6fp63 I have since acquired P-6 dump tubes, 280 main jets, and 40 pilots, my question is what needle do I need to run w/these needle jets/dump tubes? currently with these large needles, the slides will not close all the way, even with the idle screw out, and needle on the furthest clip, obvious needle to dump tube fit is incorrect, any help wwill be appreciated, thank you

I will be there the weekend of the 2nd-4th november-either in wash4-5, or if no room other group wash 17..... 04-red/white, w/a cooler full of keystone light.....

lean is mean....I have huge porting and lots of timing/compression and run 290 mains w/pod filters and T-5 pipes.....I do have 27.5 pilots too.......believe it or not my plugs show a little rich.....

I ran the stock silencers w/paul turner mids......best setup I ever had, then I got T-5 pipes/silencers, have had a lot of problems w/the mounts, tabs breaking, and stuff......should have kept the paul turners....
