  1. IF ITS BUILT RIGHT YES YOU DEFINATLEY WILL UNLESS YOU HAVE RIDGID ADJUSTABLE LOWER MOTOR MOUNTS. I LIKE THE ADJUSTABLE LOWERS BETTER ACTUALLY. ON MY 535 I RIPPED THE CASES APART USING THE OLD ON THROUGH THE CASE NOW ITS BOLTED TO JUST THE SIDE COVER AND THE LOAD IS SPREAD OUT AMONG THE MOUNTING BOLTS i like motors with a lot of bottom and midrange.. oh an screamin top end tooo.
  2. MOTOR PRODUCED SO MUCH TQ IT WAS TWISTING IN THE FRAME AND WOULD TOSS THE CHAIN. THAT WAS INSTALLED TO STOP IT FROM HAPPENING the one on my 535 is bigger...
  3. just a guess but on alky with the shear's and good coil i bet it was over 100hp but the tq is what makes it so fast im sure its producing 75ft lbs of tq at lower rpm's the band is just very wide with the motor. it would blow off 14 paddle extremes if the sand was a lil loose. with 15/40 gearing. last time out i was running 12 paddle extreme's on it to kinda control the wheelies. anytime i put anyone smaller than me on it it would stand up about 3-4 gear once it would finally get traction. the best thing is with less timing its very manageable. but still makes lots of tq. want more of a beast bump the timing. if a dyna programable igniton was used you could even switch when you wanted with the box.
  4. sold pending payment
  5. i didnt read all that up there. BUT tear it down whenever you ahve a few weeks or months of down time if it lives. maintenance is much easier on a running motor instead of a broken one. a proper tear down woudl include crankshaft inspection. and possibly even disasembly and inspect bearings etc
  6. is he still doing them? they were some of the first aftermarket cyls for the banshee. if i rember right he had a very nice billet basket as well. back then if you wanted a big ass motor it was 550sx conversion or superior sleeve. i ahve rode a few and their massive cc makes pretty dang good power

  11. too much timing..
  12. i have weighed around 260-295 during my terrorizing the dunes with this motor. here are some pics. i'll sell it as pictured with the billet kicker and shifter, flywheel, stator with timing plate, billet chrome plated stator cover, and extra head with 2 sets of domes ( need recut as they are trinity domes. i can re do them if you'd like). and pv's and block off's. for 3800.00 as it sits right now it has a bent 3-4 shift fork ( too hard of a wheelie with lil jockeys on it) i will replace the forks with NEW and split, clean , reseal with new gaskets and OEM crank seals. if you want at that time i can replace the trans with the stock mod trans and install a brand new HD driveline clutch pack for trail use. recut the domes to gas specs that work and install the polished replaceable dome head. same price. when it is apart if the buyer wants pics of the entire engine apart i can take those i WILL NOT post public pictures of the porting in the cylinder so dont ask. buyer will get private pics of the porting style and an explanation as to what the therories are behind it. the covers are chrome plated but are in not that great of shape. the chrome is peeling in some spots if you want the "trail" setup i will install a brand new OEM fully polished clutch cover and stock inserts onto it if you want. need to sale in the next few days. i'll do whatever it takes to seal the deal. one hell of a motor.
  13. im going to pull it out tomorrow and i will take a bunch of pics and load them up

  15. DONT use filler the stresses on the crank will cause the weld to crack and the filler will pop out. seen this too many times.
